How to build a charismatic brand?

07:41
Please watch: "Maximising Tribe Marketing" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUFxlZdQ594 --~-- More from me: http://www.arnteriksen.com Behind-the-scenes: http://instagram.com/arnteriksen Topic; So why do you need to be aware of the GAP between Strategy and Creativity? The thing is, in most companies, there is a gulf, a gap between the marketers the right-brainers, and the thinkers, creatives, the left-brainers where one group don’t know what the other one is doing. But why is this important? For one it can make a brilliant strategy to fail when it counts the most, or it can doom a bold creative initiative before it gets launched and put you back to the planning stage. This is what is defined as the Brand Gap and what I’ll simplify in today’s Five Minute Friday session - the complexity of building a charismatic brand. Please watch the video, and leave a comment if you have any questions or just want to reach out. New videos every week! What is a "Brand"? What is "Branding"?

06:17
If you ask 10 different companies “what is a brand" or "what is branding?” you’re likely to get 10 different answers. There’s a lot of ambiguity (mixed with a little snake-oil) when it comes to the topic. In this video, I hope to clear the air by explaining: 1) What a Brand Is Not 2) What a Brand Is 3) How to be Intentional with your Brand Spoiler - here are my working definitions as explained in the video: What is a "Brand"?: A Brand is a person’s gut feeling about a product, service, or organization What is "Branding"?: Branding is the art and science of influencing public perception about a product, service or organization References: "What is Branding" Article: https://www.butlerbranding.com/branding/what-is-branding/ How to Build User Profiles (Free Workbook and Video): https://www.butlerbranding.com/uncategorized/how-to-build-user-profiles/ Marty Neumeier's "The Brand Gap": https://www.amazon.com/Brand-Gap-Distance-Business-Strategy/dp/0321348109 Marty Neumeier's "Zag": https://www.amazon.com/Zag-Number-Strategy-High-Performance-Brands/dp/0321426770/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_14_t_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=5E05DY6P6GT35EW25MQN

How to be a GAP Consultant

03:52
Hello, allow me introduce our brand, GAP, which is an acronym stands for; G – Gracias Global Properties A – Alstonia Global Services Limited P – Parkhust Construction Limited. GAP (Gracias Alstonia Parkhust) is a partnership of three giant real estate and construction companies with our head office at *NO 1a Wumego crescent off Sule Onabiyi street off Admiralty road Lekki phase1*,Lagos and branch offices around Lagos. We are into sales of landed properties, luxurious homes and construction. There are two approaches to selling real estate for GAP; Sales real estate and network real estate, you can focus on one or combine both. 1) If you choose to only sell then it means you get 15% of your TOTAL SALES anytime you sell on our behalf....Eg, if you sell a land worth 5m,the company instantly pays you 15% of the sales. IF YOU CHOOSE TO NETWORK REAL ESTATE (WHICH IS A BETTER OPTION) NOTE: you will still make 15% commission on any sales you close by yourself in addition to; 2)you make 5% indirect commission when someone you introduce (say Mr A) to the company makes a sale of N5m which means you would go home with N250k. 3)And you make a 1% third generation indirect commission when Mr A (who is your direct down line) introduces someone to the company that makes a sales of N5m, meaning you would get N50k. 4)Real estate is one of the safest ways to generate passive income plus you can combine it with your 9 to 5 job without conflict 5)GAP takes care of the PROCESSES,VERIFICATION and DOCUMENTATION so you don’t have to worry about that. 6 )With GAP, you don’t have to worry about OMONILE or TRADITIONAL OWNERS WAHALA or DRAMA. 7 )Remember you share your commission with no one, not even your direct up line and you get your commission with 24hrs of confirming your client’s payment. Kindly click on the link below to register as a consultant for GAP and start earning passively http://portal.gaprealtypartners.com/59379 Please call or whatsapp me on 09056337673 for further enquiries. Marty Neumeier - Marketing Festival 2015 Q&A

18:43
In the 13 years since Marty Neumeier wrote The Brand Gap, the influence of social media has proven his theory: “A brand isn’t what you say it is—it’s what they say it is.” The rise of branding, now fueled by social media, has placed the future of companies firmly in the hands of customers. This is the brand flip, a cross-industry judo throw that’s taking down some companies and raising others to the status of superstars. People are no longer consumers or market segments or tiny blips in big data. They don’t buy brands. They join brands. In this clear and lively talk, you’ll learn how to “flip” your company from offering products to offering meaning, and from customer satisfaction to customer empowerment. Marty will also explain the Brand Commitment Matrix, the simplest possible tool for flipping your brand. 16 FAMOUS LOGOS WITH A HIDDEN MEANING (That We Never Even Noticed)

06:29
How to design a successful logo? How to build a famous brand for your business? Some of the most well-known logos in the world were purposefully designed to indicate something much more than simple beauty. In fact, it seems that in some cases, every line, curve, and color has meaning behind it. Adidas, Apple, BMW, Coca-Cola, Toyota… We see these famous brands everywhere but never consider what their logos exactly mean. Curious to know the secret? Watch the 16 famous logos with a hidden meaning you've never noticed. #logomeaning #logosecret # Hyundai 0:33 The letter ’Н’ symbolizes two people – a client and a representative of the company – shaking hands. Adidas 0:52 The current logo is three stripes at an angle which together form a triangle. This symbolizes a mountain, which in turn represents the challenges that all sportsmen have to overcome day after day. Apple 1:21 Rob Janoff, the designer who came up with the world-famous Apple company logo, explained his idea in one of his interviews. He bought a bag of apples, placed them in a bowl, and spent time drawing them for a week, trying to break the image down into something simple. Vaio 1:58 The first two letters of the Vaio logo symbolize an analogue wave. The last two are similar to the numbers 1 and 0 — that is, symbols of a digital signal. Amazon 2:14 The orange arrow is similar to a smile because the company wants its customers to be satisfied. The arrow is also stretched between the letters ’A’ and ’Z’, in a hint that the company sells absolutely every product you can imagine. Baskin Robbins 2:40 The pink-colored parts of the "BR" section make up the number 31, which is how many ice cream flavors Baskin Robbins used to famously sell. Toyota 2:56 The logo represents a stylized image of a needle eye with a thread passing through it. This is a hint at the company’s past – they used to produce weaving machines. Continental 3:28 Continental, a famous car tire producer, has a logo in which the first two letters depict a car wheel. Formula 1 3:41 If you look carefully at the white space between the letter ’F’ and the red stripes, you can see the number 1. Pinterest 3:59 On Pinterest, people collect images they like from across the Internet and ’pin’ them to their online boards. That’s why the image of a pin is hidden in the letter P. Beats 4:17 Beats, an audio equipment producer based in the USA, uses a logo in which the letter ’B’ looks like headphones on a person’s head. Toblerone 4:32 The famous chocolate company based in Bern, Switzerland, has a silhouette of a bear in its logo. That's because Bern is sometimes called a city of bears. BMW 4:55 The logo is simply a part of the Bavarian flag, the area of Germany where the company originated. LG 5:18 The logo is a stylized image of a person’s face. According to the company, this represents its aspiration to have human relations with their customers. Evernote 5:34 The corner of the elephant’s ear is folded over in a similar way how people fold the corner of a page to make notes. Coca-Cola 5:57 In the space between the letters ’O’ and ’L’, you can see the Danish flag. It’s purely a coincidence. Nevertheless, Coca-Cola has used this as part of its marketing campaigns in the Scandinavian country. If you’ve enjoyed this video, hit that thumbs up button! Marketing Minute 013: “Filling the Market Gaps” (Corporate Branding) #MarketingMinute

01:14
It’s time to fill the gaps! When did you last take time to think deeply about other brands in your category that are operating in your market? If it’s been awhile, then it’s time to do it again. Consider how each of the brands in your category fills the needs and desires of their respective market segments, and then take time to brainstorm what needs or desires might be currently left unfulfilled. Could your brand fill those needs and capture those audiences? But let’s take it further... What segments in your marketplace or marketspace have been left unsatisfied by any of the currently participating brands? Those gaps in supply are opportunities to a marketer. Once you’ve determined what they are, it’s time to fill those gaps. However, you first need to make sure that filling those gaps fits in with your overall branding strategy, or else you run the risk of diluting your brand image and complicating your brand persona. It’s important to maintain your identifiable brand persona rather than carelessly seek customers who don’t fit into your brand strategy. **Subscribe to my channel to make sure that you don't miss the future episodes of Monday's Marketing Minute.

The Prospect’s Perception Gap: How to bridge the gap between results we want & results we have

01:18:58
People challenged with a claim naturally resist it. But people who arrive at a conclusion will naturally defend it. In this session, Flint McGlaughlin, Founder and Managing Director, MECLABS Institute (parent research organization of MarketingSherpa), will share the levers you can pull to help your customers arrive at the right conclusions about your brand. McGlaughlin will integrate case studies around value proposition and branding from almost 20 years of consumer behavior research to help attendees at every level in an organization. Business leaders will discover how to rethink how they communicate their brand while marketers will learn to transform the messaging of any piece of marketing collateral to, ultimately, improve results by replacing promises with expectations and claims with conclusions.

Close The GAP (unofficial Gap ad)

DISCLAIMER AT 0:34 *THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL GAP COMMERCIAL AND IS NOT SPONSORED NOR ENDORSED BY GAP* Use of Gaps logo is under fair use in a fictional work: "Portraying a logo in a fictional work, be it movie or illustrated novel, would generally not be considered an infringement as long as the use doesn’t confuse the viewer on who owns the logo’s trademark. The use of trademarks in fiction is recognized as a means for enhancing realism in a story. Even where a non-owner’s use of a logo or any trademark is considered fair or nominative use, the Publishing Law Center recommends attaching a disclaimer that identifies the owner of the logo, and that the logo is not authorized by, sponsored by, or associated with the trademark owner." SOURCE: http://smallbusiness.chron.com/fair-use-logos-2152.html ------------------------------ Welcome to Close The Gap: a visual project curated by both lovers and creative directors, Miro LaFlaga and Ashgrxphics. Whether it be emotionally or creatively, they compliment and challenge each other to be innovative with their craft. Ash and Miro’s creation was an opportunity for them to put everything they knew together and produce a strong collection of visuals. The storyline of Close the Gap is a flirty one, in which two models interact with one another from their own individual frames. The white space between them represents the Gap keeping them from each other. The word Gap in this project was a huge inspiration for the duo and takes on more than one meaning: not only did they want to create an appealing visual that stands out, but they also want to show the world what young people of colour are capable of. They aim to be a positive representation of their peers, in order to close the gap in a creative scene that lacks much diversity. Being a brand that embraces diversity, inspiration was drawn from GAP clothing and their minimalistic ads to create a new campaign with a creative twist. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Produced by: Ashgrxphics & Miro LaFlaga Creative Directors: Ashgrxphics & Miro LaFlaga Models: Ashgrxphics & Miro LaFlaga Hairstylist: Simone Cambridge Makeup Artist: Christine White Motion Design: Ashgrxphics Videographer: HR Heisenberg Music: Jamvvis - Feel like fallin' ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Miro LaFlaga: http://mirolaflaga.com https://facebook.com/Mirolaflaga https://twitter.com/mirolaflaga https://instagram.com/mirolaflaga/ Ashgrxphics: https://facebook.com/Ashgrxphics https://twitter.com/Ashgrxphics https://instagram.com/Ashgrxphics

How To Find Logo Design Ideas

12:51
Graphic Design Resources: https://goo.gl/kUXMpU How To Find Logo Design Ideas: Hello everyone, welcome back, many of you asked me, how to find logo design ideas, it was really a hard question to answer, because I can’t teach you creativity, but there is some methods that help you get creative and come up with great logo design concepts. So today, I am going to walk you through the process of designing a logo, but I will concentrate on the thinking behind the design part. Generating Logo Design Ideas: In order to generate great logo design ideas, you have to put in the time into the thinking behind the design, it’s a whole process, if you follow it, you will be in good position to come up with good ideas, that works as great solution for the client’s problem. Creative Brief: To start the thinking process, you have to collect every information needed of your client, and this can easily done by creating a creative brief, It’s a simple document you send to your client, that ask thoughtful questions about the client and his business, in order to gather specific information about the project, and to define your client’s expectations. Analyze brief, discover & research business competitors and target audience. Mindmapping: After sending the creative brief documentto the client, he will respond with the information needed. The company name is Royal Veggies Transport. The client wanted something elegant and classy, at the same time the logo needs to reflect the veggies aspect. To achieve that, we will use the logo’s main keywords to extract some unexpected ideas, that is what we call mind mapping. Mind mapping is the creation of a visual representation of the words related to the main topic, then finding other associations to these words, in order to generate creative logo ideas. Words Association: After The mind mapping phase, I make separated lists, each main word with its associations. then I take off the words that I find inconvenient to the project, then I make some combinations of three words, one word from each list, so I can get some unexpected ideas for the logo . Sketching Saul Bass said, Design is thinking made visual. So after all the thinking and the research process it’s time transform that into a visual. So, these are the combinations of the word that I extracted from the Mind Mapping and the word Associations. To attend the right solution for your logo, you have to execute all the combinations, then you filter them and the stronger survive. I will walk you through the execution of one combination, which is, Carrot, Crown, Wings. Putting in mind all the information that I collected before, I will start by sketching. It doesn’t require being precise when sketching, it’s only about capturing the essence of the idea. In fact, anyone can draw, as I showed you before in the mood board I collected some Images, I will use it as reference, if you don’t know how to draw a carrot, look at a photo of a carrot, and try to do the same thing with simpler form. Wilson Bridge | The Next Step for Brands

11:46
Customer Engagement Optimization bridges the gap between a brand’s personality and the technology used to communicate that personality. The first step is to understand how a brand interacts with customers and delivers value. With that understood and defined, brands then need to determine the marketing technology required to meet those objectively and authentically—not a simple task when the space has upwards of 5,000 vendors and counting. We also discuss how Customer Engagement Optimization works on social, or not, and recall the time a mobile carrier fired some customers it didn’t like. | BRAND REFERENCES AND RESOURCES | Nike: www.nike.com De Beers: https://www.debeers.com Martech 5000 (2017): https://chiefmartec.com/2017/05/marketing-techniology-landscape-supergraphic-2017/ Sprint: https://www.cnet.com/news/sprint-breaks-up-with-high-maintenance-customers/ Got Milk: https://www.gotmilksnacks.com | WILSON ADVERTISING LINKS | Wilson Advertising: http://www.wilsonadv.com Customer Engagement Optimization: http://www.wilsonadv.com/category/customer-engagement-optimization/ Our Work: http://www.wilsonadv.com/our-work/ Contact Us: http://www.wilsonadv.com/contact-us/ All trademarked and copyrighted names, marks and logos are the property of their respective companies.

21:15
Welcome to the new series of creating my website. Today I will be talking about branding and design, The initial steps of creating a website. And at the end i show you a preview of the design i have created. Let me know in the comment section what you would have done to make this better. This website will be done using node js and express js, so if you dont know what node is check out my playlist on node for beginners. We create projects so you can get a better understanding on what node js is! Node Js for Beginners Playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list... 7 Steps of branding: 1) Research your target audience and your competitors. 2) Pick your focus and personality. 3) Choose your business name. 4) Write your slogan. 5) Choose the look of your brand (colors and font). 6) Design your logo. 7) Apply your branding across your business and evolve it as you grow. Books To Grow Your Knowledge: 1) Sticky Branding: 12.5 Principles to Stand Out, Attract Customers, and Grow an Incredible Brand -- https://amzn.to/2CrgavA Takeaways: * When growing your brand, focus on one priority at a time. * Keep it simple. Can you describe your brand in less than 10 words? * Be courageous. Sticky brands are bold, meaning the challenges laid out in this book are not for the faint of heart. 2) Brand Thinking and Other Noble Pursuits, by Debbie Millman -- https://amzn.to/2SXiq4K Takeaways: * Focus on the story. Stories give people meaning and is how people experience the world. * Be ready to respond to change. Culture suffers when you fail to react. * Brand attributes are no longer the most important element. It’s all about brand meaning. 3) The Brand Gap: How to Bridge the Distance Between Business Strategy and Design, by Marty Neumeier -- https://amzn.to/2W00Izr Takeaways: * People have access to information but are starved for time. Can your brand make it as easy as possible for customers to say “yes” to your offering? * Bring right and left-brained workers together to bridge the gap. Bring “magic and logic” together. * Your brand is a never-ending play. Every single person in your company is an actor. Your customer experiences this play every time they engage with your brand. 4) Designing Brand Identity: An Essential Guide for the Whole Branding Team, by Alina Wheeler -- https://amzn.to/2CvmWjP Takeaways: * Good design continues to be a powerful differentiator. But we live in challenging times. Crowded marketplaces, global competition and an unstable economy or all factors for uncertainty. * A great logo has meaning. It features strategy, intelligence and visual form. Identity systems must balance coherence with flexibility. * Work thrives when there is strong leadership supporting it. That leadership must protect, preserve and grow brand as an asset. 5) The Hero and the Outlaw: Building Extraordinary Brands Through the Power of Archetypes, by Margaret Mark and Carol S.
