The Internet's first how-to guide to Fallout 4's elusive "good ending"! (WONDERING WHAT ARMOR SHE'S WEARING? See this video ► https://youtu.be/fH6HmRrKkyM) Save file for this ending ► https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3511 A "good ending" is in the eye of the beholder, of course. This ending brings peace to Fallout 4 and its factions. Previously, it might have been called a "good karma" ending; but since karma doesn't exist in Fallout 4, this ending is best described as putting the Commonwealth into a state of strong stability for all of the major players (except the Institute; those slaving, murdering bastards get nuked). All of the other major factions stay alive and happy with you. You are a high-ranking knight in the Brotherhood, a major asset of the Railroad, and (of course) the leader of the Minutemen. Side quests for all three factions are open to you along with various post-event quests. If your idea of a "good ending" is everyone dead and a giant pile of pillows from all corners of the Commonwealth placed in one room guarded by nukemines and missile turrets, then...yeah, this won't suit your tastes. But if you want all companions from the Minutemen, Railroad and Brotherhood to be happy and alive, with nobody from those factions murdering each other in the streets, then this is the ending for you! The process: Step 1: Before completing "Reunions," complete all main and both side quests (once each) for the Brotherhood of Steel recon team. Talk Brandis down from being crazy. Step 2: Complete "Reunions" and "Dangerous Minds." Step 3: (a) You will have received "Tradecraft" and "Shadow of Steel." DO NOT advance in either of these quests. (b) Focus on the Minutemen as you continue down the main quest line. Use the Minutemen to gain access to the Institute. (c) Get yourself banished from the Institute. You can play along and poke around for a bit first if you like, but if you do, you'll have to murder someone to get banished (might we suggest those bastards down in synth retention?). You may safely complete "Institutionalized," but do not progress any farther before getting yourself kicked out. Don't even speak to Father again after completing "Institutionalized." DO NOT complete "Synth Retention." (Give the holotape to Sturges.) Step 4: (a) You will have received "Form Ranks" for the Minutemen. DO NOT advance this quest. (b) DO NOT start "Defend the Castle." Don't even go to the Castle. (c) Complete all quests for the Brotherhood from "Shadow of Steel" to "Show No Mercy." DO NOT complete "Show No Mercy." Don't even get on the Vertibird. Grab ALL side quests from the Brotherhood and keep them open. Step 5: Complete "Form Ranks" and "Defend the Castle." Start "The Nuclear Option" for the Minutemen but DO NOT complete it. Step 6: Complete all Railroad quests from "Tradecraft" to "Randolph Safehouse 6." Step 7: Complete "The Nuclear Option." That's it! This process will result in all factions loving you. The heads of the Brotherhood will praise your actions (except Max, who is pouting and won't talk to you). From here on out, they will not start fights and will only kill mutants and raiders. Many of their quests and side quests are repeatable. The Railroad has a whole new line of quests for you, and there is fun to be had everywhere (however, don't talk to P.A.M. after this; she wants to start a war with the Brotherhood). Enjoy your (relatively) peace-filled Commonwealth and Fallout 4 peace! (BTW, if one of your companions is being attacked by another faction, this is most likely because they got hit with some crossfire while in a multi-faction battle and then shot back. This happens often...and is annoying as hell. Danse will shoot down his own Vertibird then leave you because he is mad that you shot down his friends. Yeah.) This ending would include -good karma -did not use FEV virus -sacrificed myself instead of Lyons Edit: I did play on the Game of the Year edition with all of the DLC included. Pretty much a straight shot through the story getting some good karma actions along the way.

SPOILER ALERT!!!! This is the alternative ending to the Mechanist encounter in the addon for Fallout 4, Automatron. Use this ending if you are a melee or unarmed character and have problems with the large ending battle in the traditional ending.

Originally, you were able to take the position of Elder from Maxon and lead the Brotherhood of Steel for the rest of the game. For some reason this was cut from the final game, but dialogue still exists of this alternate ending. This is a restoration mod that restores this alternate ending to Blind Betrayal. ========================================= The mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/21923/? +Want to talk to us?! For those who have seen my Definitive Minutemen Ending Guide, this ending is the same. I made this video to help clarify the most important parts of my playthrough, as well as to explain the notes that were made on my previous videos. This playthrough takes advantage of the latest turning point in the game, at which you must decide which faction to side with in the end. Links to supporting videos can be found by clicking the icon at the top right of the screen, as well as on a separate playlist on my channel. I will continue to update the playlist with new videos whenever possible. This doesn't appear to impact the ending in any way. Continuing to work with Father will require completing Mass Fusion with the Institute, which is the part that should be avoided. - Various holotapes containing lore can be found throughout the Institute. Thank you for letting me know. I'll consider putting together a video to help locate these holotapes. - A House Divided, an Institute side quest, can also be completed if you wish. No impact on the ending. No benefit to completing it. - You can still complete Show No Mercy after completing Institutionalized. The dialogue with Maxson for Outside the Wire and From Within will start after you've completed Show No Mercy. - Bunker Hill can be unlocked as a settlement by completing quests with Kessler. OR have it instantly unlocked by speaking with Kessler after completing the Nuclear Option. - Tactical Thinking and other incomplete Brotherhood of Steel quests will be failed after completing Defend the Castle, as seen in my Defend the Castle guide and playthrough.

A good ending should tie up the loose ends and show all the preceding stuff added up to something. One surefire way to annoy players therefore is to put the real ending of the game into some premium DLC that doesn't come with the game as standard. Subscribe for more lists! http://www.tinyurl.com/SubToOxbox This video ponders those instances where a game's true ending was in DLC you had to pay for. Watchers beware giant spoilers for the following games: Fallout 3, Asura's Wrath, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Dragon Age Origins, The Evil Within, Batman Arkham Knight, Outlast and its Whistleblower DLC, and Dead Space 3. With Fallout 3, for example, we were still complaining to friends, family and nervous passers-by about the ending half a year after it came out. As much as we loved the game, we were still salty over how your decision right at the end came down to either sacrifice yourself to a room full of deadly radiation or sacrifice Sarah Lyons to a room full of deadly radiation. All while Fawkes stood there like a giant, useless, radiation-proof pile of no help at all. Then along came Fallout 3 DLC Broken Steel, which modified your final decision to include the mind-bogglingly obvious option of sending in a radiation-proof companion to soak up the rads and turn on the water purifier. Get lost, canonical ending of the main game: the Wasteland was saved and everybody made it out alive. Or how about Asura's Wrath? When your plot is as involved and frankly as furious as that of Asura's Wrath, you might well lose track of what's going on and, in your confusion, forget to put your ending on the game disc. We hope it wasn't for more cynical financial reasons than that it was arranged so you had to spend an extra fiver to get the downloadable final four episodes of Asura's Wrath to experience the true ending. In episodes 19 to 22, Asura's daughter Mithra, the one he's spent the entire game trying to protect, becomes inhabited by a talking golden spider, who turns out to be the Lord of All Creation. Who Asura kills when he takes on his final, godly form, ripping the space time continuum a new one in the process. Nothing major, then? If you just played what was on the disc and left it at that, well, that's like the time I walked out of the Sixth Sense ten minutes early. You know, that movie about the nice psychologist who everyone ignores. --- Outside Xbox brings you daily videos about Xbox 360 games and Xbox One games. If you speak to Andy and Andrea and use their cursed items, you'll fall further and further under Maxwell's influence. By doing so, you will get an alternate ending dialogue, and I show you this in the video! As well as a quick weapons showcase of the Large Cursed Rocket Fireworks weapon on my Settlers :D. Download Maxwell's World Mod. Currently only available for PC: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18949/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Ffallout4%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D18949%26preview%3D&pUp=1 "Located just a few miles from Boston, Maxwell’s World was once a place of joy. The biggest amusement park in the country, Mister Maxwell dedicated his fortunes and life to making everyone’s time at Maxwell’s World as happy as possible. Then the bombs fell and it all went to shit. Now, the park lies open, shrouded in legend and danger. A thousand myths say that Maxwell hid a treasure, deep inside the control center of the park, just waiting to be reclaimed by some wasteland. Unfortunately, a thousand more myths say that something happened to Maxwell’s World. They tell tales of shambling skeletons in the park that attack anything in sight, robots that find you and force-feed you hot dogs, of the rides coming to life and devouring those inside. There are some that say that Maxwell traded his soul to keep the park running, and not even the apocalypse stopped that. All anyone knows, is that whoever enters Maxwell’s World, never leaves. Because the park isn’t just open. It’s alive." FEATURES -A seven part quest of survival and fright, with more than four different endings, that reacts and changes based on your choices during the main quest. -An entire new world space, Maxwell’s World, with over five completely different sections, hidden detail, and much much more. -Three new companions, fully voiced with their combat styles, and miniquests. -Brand new gameplay elements! In Maxwell’s World, the things you find are tainted and can affect both enemies and the quest. Consume them if you dare, or focus on using the precious little non-cursed resources you brought with you! A respawn system. Maxwell wants you to stay, and is content to kill and resurrect you over, and over, and over again. Watch your stimpaks and microfusion cells, because you won’t get them back! Animated ride bosses! Malevolent bumper cars and serpentine rollercoasters are out to kill you! These juggernauts are scattered throughout the park, and can come to life at any time! Some say that there are weapons in the park that can deal with them, but you risk losing your soul to Maxwell’s influence! The Presence. A mysterious entity that travels around the park, bringing the rides to life and causing machines to go haywire. Reroute power to different parts of the park to draw it away, or risk its wrath for the comforts electricity brings you! Minigames! Shooting galleries, robot fights, and more -New enemies. Face off against deranged animatronics, living rides, ghoulified mascots, and the terrifying Revelers; those guests before you whose souls were claimed, now forever cursed to wander the park in great armies. -New weapons! From firework cannons, rayguns, mallets, to the triumphant return of Fallout 3's heavy incinerators. -A new clown paintjob for power armor.

It's all out - we know where they're coming from. Here, I list my Top 5 Facts about the Institute in Fallout 4. Much of this deals with the morals of their ending, as well as some of the Institute secrets. I've covered Fallout 4 secrets before, like secret locations and quests, to secret enemies. Most lead to disturbing theories, or sad stories and sad deaths. I'm just now getting into the Fallout 4 Institute quests, and they're pretty fun. Since I'm on the PS4, it's nice to see the Fallout 4 new mods. There are companion mods, and obviously armor mods that are outstanding. They definitely make discovering sad encounters, or coming up with new theories, more fun. Special thanks to Bethesda for the free code to Fallout 76! But there is a story, and there is a main quest, although not nearly as cinematic as a regular campaign. We went through it nonetheless and finished (under-leveled). I basically jump cut and edited the main points of the mission objectives on the top right of the screen. Didn't want to do it walkthrough style since we died a lot, but just want to give a general sense of what the last main quest is all about and what you go through to launch the nuke. The truth is that it was fun, mostly because we played with friends throughout the whole experience. I can't say how good it will be alone, I know a big chunk of long time fans are down on this game. It definitely feels empty and barren at times. I feel like if you just really love exploring, then this game has it droves. If you want any sort of cinematic and deep single player experience. then don't get this game. The world is riddled with story and things to find, but if you rather have a deep cinematic story, this is the complete opposite of that. At least that's my 2 cents. We'll also be doing a game movie, or as much of a game movie as we can scavenge from this game. Hope you guys enjoy, and for those of you who like the game, enjoy your experience! Updated/Simplified Video (same ending): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKpxViy-OzY An updated version of my Best Minutemen Ending video. After helping people with their questions and concerns by going back to my older saves, I discovered that it’s possible to complete nearly every main quest from each faction and reach a peaceful ending with the Minutemen. Timestamps and additional notes below. Leave annotations on, and click the icon on top right corner for links to related videos. Notes: - To progress further in the BOS questline, Outside the Wire and From Within must be completed. To receive these quests, I spoke with Maxson after first entering the Institute with the help of the Minutemen. After receiving these two quests, I then went to Sturges to ask for the holotape that I had given to him after completing the Molecular Level and Inside Job. This holotape was then given to Proctor Ingram. Conversely, if you completed Outside the Wire before Inside Job (such as by setting up the signal interceptor with BOS), you can retrieve the holotape from Proctor Ingram and give it to Sturges. - I spoke with Captain Kells after giving the serum to Virgil. I needed to pass a speech check to convince him that the serum worked. - Requirement #1: Avoid completing Tactical Thinking (BOS), Underground Undercover (Railroad), and Mass Fusion (Institute). Each quest represents a turning point for its respective questline. This is also the furthest that you can progress while on good terms with all factions. That means you can make a save before being banished, go back, and decide to join a different faction if you'd like by progressing beyond one of those quests. - Requirement #2: Complete Defend the Castle and The Nuclear Option with the Minutemen. - A notification (9:08) will appear when the player is about to perform an action that will make them enemies with another faction. - If signal interceptor was built with another faction, speak with Preston after being banished from the Institute to receive Inside Job, which allows you to retrieve the Institute holotape through dialogue. - Complete Covenant quest before completing story. - After completing the main storyline, I was able to instantly get Bunker Hill as a settlement by speaking with Kessler. - I can confirm that completing A Clean Equation won't result in becoming enemies with the BOS. However, if you haven't yet gone back to PAM to complete it and wait 24 hours, approaching the Brotherhood will cause them to turn hostile. As such, ensure that you go back to PAM to complete the quest, and wait 24 hours, before interacting with members of the BOS. 0:07 – Intro 0:28 – List of quests 1:50 – Spoiler warning 2:01 – Some benefits of a peaceful ending 2:21 – Visiting Captain Kells and Proctor Ingram on the Prydwen 4:11 – Example of a BOS side quest 4:41 – Visiting the Railroad 6:04 – Example of Railroad side quest – Refer to Ballistic Weave video 6:34 – Before leaving the Institute 8:06 – Getting banished from the Institute 8:21 – Complex Method of getting banished Main Quests Completed/Failed (Beginning with Most Recent): The Nuclear Option – Minutemen Defend the Castle – Minutemen Tactical Thinking – BOS – Failed (Don't speak to Kells) Burning Cover – Railroad (Received after failing Underground Undercover and being banished from the Institute. SLIGHT SPOILERS in the last minute of the video. After collecting the Chief Scientist's, Facility Manager's, and Lead Engineer's holotapes and returning to the start of the map, the lockdown on the lift in the decontamination room can be lifted. You can then take the lift down to The Mechanist's lair. This avoids the boss fight and leads to a different conversation with The Mechanist. Thanks reddit! since most people probably didn't even know this ending exists. if your wondering how to get it there are four major steps step 1: recruit Veronica and beat her quest "Could I make You care?" step 2: exhaust ALL her dialog relating to her past with the brotherhood and Elijah. step 3: become vilified by the NCR step 4: beat the worst DLC and follow the dialog tree as I did. if you liked this video please consider liking the steam guide http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=905705874

HOW TO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NV9pwCOczvY Secret Ending to Fallout New Vegas, where the Courier would choose to join Father Elijah's quest. Yes, I know that during his second-last line, he does repeat himself verbally, but the subtitles are different. This was a partial error by the developers who accidentally reused audio.
