I made a tribute to this great band :D I been a vampire for 14 years I been around the world I heard it with my ears Walking down the Sunset strip Cast no shadow at The Whisky At the Rainbow getting lit Shot off some guns at night Out there in those Hollywood skies Shot off my guns so many times Shot off some guns at night Out there in those Hollywood nigths Shot off my guns so many times Cocked and loaded with my fangs I grip The world for a while as it takes me on my trip Flying high never coming down Only come out at night when the crazy shit goes down Shot off some guns at night Out there in those Hollywood skies Shot off my guns so many times Shot off some guns at night Out there in those Hollywood nigths Shot off my guns so many times I woke from the dead And this is what I said I'm gonna rip and tear Off their heads Walking round this city so many times I had the best women I drank the best wines Shot off some guns at night Out there in those Hollywood skies Shot off my guns so many times Shot off some guns at night Out there in those Hollywood skies Shot off my guns so many times

Great song from very underrated band. Album is "Hollywood Vampires" from 1991. Interesting thing is that Axl Rose was in this band... And him and guitarist Tracii Guns later formed "Guns 'n' Roses" (Tracii GUNS 'n' Axl ROSEs), but Tracii would eventually get sick and tired of Axl and leave the band to reform the "L.A. Guns"...

"Ain't the Same '92" from the EP "Cuts" (1992). Personnel: Phil Lewis; Vocals Tracii Guns; Lead Guitar Mick Cripps; Guitar Kelly Nickels; Bass Steve Riley; Drums Note: Steve Riley performs on 3 of the 7 "Cuts" songs ("Ain't the Same '92", "Papa's Got a Brand New Bag", and "Killer Mahari"). He left the band in 1992 before the EP was finished. Michael "Bones" Gershima joined the band and recorded drums for the remaining 4 tracks ("Love Song", "Rock & Roll High School", "Night of the Cadillacs", and "Sufragette City"). He is pictured 4th from left on the album cover (under Phil). The original version of "Ain't the Same" was recorded around 1991 and features saxophones. It is included as a bonus track on the Japanese version of "Hollywood Vampires."

Lo mejor y con estilo - i love song Heavy Metal \m/ 1991 - Hollywood vampires ----------------------------------------------------------------- Yeah I got the music cranking, Japanese TV My head is full of jasmine smoke I can hardly breathe Turquoise dragons slip and slide Sliding down my back I'm standing on this cold, thin ice And I'm about to crack I'm over I'm over Over the edge Seven candles burn so bright The full moon behind a veil The ocean crashing in my head Outside the sirens wail Jet black is my dirty hair Jet black my heart and car My lips are red, my skin snow white My face is battle scarred And I'm Over I'm Over Over the Edge I no longer feel the pain No longer feel my love Just the air conditioner And some help from the Lord above Caughing up pieces of my broken heart My eyes work like radar I'm lyin' in the afterglow How'd I ever get this far I'm over I'm over Over the Edge ----------------------------------------------------------------- By: Landertf [email protected] 06 / 12 / 2009 Lima - Perú

L.A. Guns are an American glam metal band from Los Angeles, Californis. In 1983, Tracii Guns formed the band with singer Michael Jagosz, bassist Ole Beich, and drummer Rob Gardner but line up would only last a while. The second lineup of L.A. Guns was formed by Mau Maus and The Joneses drummer Paul Mars Black, who switched to lead vocals, and guitarist Mick Cripps, who switched to bass. They teamed up with drummer Nickey "Beat" Alexander, who was jamming with guitarist Tracii Guns. This lineup is considered to be the original version of the band. Originally this group was going to call itself Faster Pussycat, a name brought in by Paul Black and Mick Cripps. After much debate, this new group re-adopted the name L.A. Guns in order to utilize the backing and promotional material left over from the former lineup which had been disbanded for over a year. After Tracii left the band, Paul Black recruited ex-Dogs D'Amour singer Robert Stoddard to be the new guitarist. This lineup quickly picked up where they left off. They demoed and gigged in 1985 and 1986, with Black contributing most of the material that would be recorded on their debut album. Several record labels were already interested in signing this line-up but the band wanted a fuller sound. At the end of 1986, after his stint with the former Penthouse model fell apart, Tracii was brought back in to make L.A. Guns a five piece band for the first time. A record deal with Polygram Records was secured after Paul introduced a song called "Love and Hate." The label wanted this to be the first single. However, the new five piece line up would not survive. Paul was replaced by Phil Lewis of the British band Girl. Mick then switched back to guitar, replacing Robert, and former Faster Pussycat member Kelly Nickels was added on bass. L.A. Guns then recorded their eponymous first album, released in 1988 on Vertigo Records. The gold award debut album spawned the singles "One More Reason" and "Sex Action," both written by Black. "Sex Action" evolved from Black's earlier song "Love and Hate." Black also contributed "No Mercy," "Nothing to Lose," "Bitch Is Back," "One Way Ticket," and "Winter's Fool" to the first record and "Never Enough," the first single off the second album, Cocked and Loaded. Black also made many other contributions to the L.A. Guns repertoire which would later appear on a record called Black List, which features Black singing the original L.A. Guns songs with the original band, recorded during his time in the band. This promo video of "Some Lie 4 Love" is taken from the third L.A. Guns album " Hollywood Vampires". Copywrite - Polydor. Personnel: Phil Lewis; Lead Vocals Tracii Guns; Lead Guitar Mick Cripps; Rhythm Guitar Kelly Nickels; Bass Steve Riley; Drums Lyrics: Fire bomb Sally shook my goose Old one-eyed jack cut me loose I've got Southern moonshine in my veins I'm gonna break that bank again Jokers, jacks, queen of hearts Fortune lies within these cards Stakes are high, there's much to win Reckless pleasure ain't a sin Shake, rock and roll 'em baby Roll those dice Shake, rock and roll 'em baby Snake eyes make me shake So I blow the dice and make a wish Dame luck made no promises I roll 'em good, roll 'em fast This Irish luck is gonna last They'd all like to see me dead But I just stayed one step ahead Three bad sixes and a four And I'll be off this killing floor Shake, rock and roll 'em baby Roll those dice Shake, rock and roll 'em baby Snake eyes make me shake The devil, he's a gentleman We cut a deal in old Japan A thousand sobs on the red And take a bottle up to the bed The odds are good I make a break Don't look back or hesitate Three bad sixes and a four And I'll be off this killing floor Shake, rock and roll 'em baby Roll those dice Shake, rock and roll 'em baby Snake eyes make me shake

L.A. Guns were first formed in 1983 by guitarist Tracii Guns. The first lineup included singer Axl Rose, bassist Ole Beich and drummer Rob Gardner. Rose would leave the group to front Rapidfire before going on to form Hollywood Rose, a group formed following the introduction of guitarists Izzy Stradlin and Chris Weber to each other by Guns. Singer Michael Jagosz was brought in to replace Rose with the group recording the only material by the current incarnation of L.A. Guns. Following the breakup of Hollywood Rose, in 1984, singer Rose rejoined L.A. Guns. However, Hollywood Rose reunited, briefly, with Rose, Stradlin, Weber and Steve Darrow returning while L.A. Guns drummer Gardner also joined the group. Weber, who left to move to New York City, was soon replaced by Tracii Guns. The group changed their name to Guns N' Roses (combining the names of L.A. Guns and Hollywood Rose) with the lineup composed of Axl Rose, Tracii Guns, Izzy Stradlin, Ole Beich and Rob Gardner. Later, in 1985, Guns and singer Paul Black reformed L.A.Guns with Mick Cripps and Nickey Alexander. Robert Stoddard, former The Dogs D'Amour singer, was briefly a member of the group, co-writing the song "Nothing to Lose" that appeared on L.A. Guns debut album. Initially, the group were to be called Faster Pussycat (later the name of another band; several of that band's members over the years were also in L.A. Guns) but soon re-adopted the L.A. Guns moniker. After writing material and playing shows, the group signed with PolyGram. Black was soon replaced by former Girl singer Phil Lewis while Kelly Nickels (formerly of Faster Pussycat) was added to the lineup. They recorded their debut album, titled L.A. Guns, with producer Jim Faraci. The album featured six songs co-wrote by former singer Paul Black ("No Mercy", "Sex Action", "One More Reason", "Nothing to Lose", "Bitch is Back" and "One Way Ticket") while, after album completion, drummer Alexander was replaced by former W.A.S.P. drummer Steve Riley (with Riley credited as L.A. Guns' drummer on the albums linear notes and Alexander only given drum credits). The album was released in 1988, through PolyGram/Vertigo Records, peaking at number 50 on the Billboard 200.
