10 Kids Who Were Raised By Wild Animals
10 Real Kids Who Were Raised In The AMAZON JUNGLE Subscribe to our channel: ► http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-Richest ◄ Have you ever been to a restaurant or just out in public and you get disrupted by loud and hyper kids? Yup, children can get pretty wild and make quite a scene. However, what about when children get really wild? We mean this in the literal sense and have 10 examples of children who were raised in the wild by animals. We’ll start you off with Natasha, a girl who was actually raised by feral cats and dogs after her parents neglected her. Then there’s Bello, a character who is seemingly straight from a Disney movie thanks to the fact he was raised by chimps. We’ll travel to India to tell you about a boy who was actually living with wolves. Not too far from there, lives a woman in Cambodia who appeared from the jungle one day after living a feral life for several years. If you like cats then be sure to stick around for the story of the little boy who was actually raised by a pack of feral street cats. No discussion of kids raised by wild animals would be complete without mentioning Marina Chapman. Allegedly kidnapped, her strange story involves monkeys in the jungle and a happy ending. In Siberia, a boy named Andrei was abandoned by his parents. Incredibly, he survived the harsh environment thanks to man’s best friend. In the Andes Mountains in South America, we’ll tell you about a boy known only as Daniel who survived thanks to wild goats. Speaking of mountains, there’s also the incredible story of Marcos who basically lived with wolves and, from what we can gather, experienced a Disney-like story over several years. Finally, there’s the story of a Ugandan man named John who fled into the jungle as a boy and was “discovered” years later living with a troop of monkeys. The Immune System Explained I – Bacteria Infection
Every second of your life you are under attack. Bacteria, viruses, spores and more living stuff wants to enter your body and use its resources for itself. The immune system is a powerful army of cells that fights like a T-Rex on speed and sacrifices itself for your survival. Without it you would die in no time. This sounds simple but the reality is complex, beautiful and just awesome. An animation of the immune system. We are thinking of making an App for tablets out of this video. Would you like that? Did you think the visual system we developed worked? Feedback is much appreciated! Why is it so Important to Protect Abu Dhabi’s Environment & Biodiversity?
In an interview with Global Platform, Razan Khalifa Al Mubarak, Secretary-General of Environment Agency Abu Dhabi, speaks on how the Environment Agency, Abu Dhabi, and its partners work to protect the environment and to ensure sustainable development in the emirate. The issue of water conservation is one of the priority areas for Abu Dhabi – and indeed the entire region, and as a coastal country, marine water quality is vital both from a food security perspective and also from a tourism viewpoint. As the emirate welcomes more industry, the agency is cooperating with key stakeholders to ensure that the environmental regulations are up to par with the type of development that is taking place.

Climate Scientist Explains Easiest Way To Protect Environment: VOTE!
Renowned climate scientist Michael Mann had an op-ed in The Guardian last week where he explained the growing threat of increasingly powerful storms and climate change-related weather events. But he lands the story on the simplest way that people in the United States can work towards a better future – just vote. There are obviously other steps that have to be taken from there, as Mann has explained, but it all starts with removing politicians who want to move the US backwards on energy and climate rather than forward. Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins discusses this.   Link – https://amp.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/sep/14/florence-climate-change-triple-threat?__twitter_impression=true Support us by becoming a monthly patron on Patreon, and help keep progressive media alive!: https://www.patreon.com/TheRingofFire Spread the word! It will eventually, hopefully, but right now, it's about as bad as we've seen in a long time, but here's the thing. These kinds of storms, like Florence, luckily it slowed down to a one before it made landfall, whereas it could have been making landfall as a four, a very powerful four, but it downgraded, but this is the new normal. We saw it last year with Maria, with Harvey, with Irma, now with Florence. It's not just the new normal. They're actually getting worse. Normal's gone, out the window, and that's actually what renowned climate scientist Michael Mann told people in an op-ed for the Guardian last week, an op-ed you can find the link to it in the video description here. I strongly recommend everybody take the time to read through that op-ed, and after you've read it, I want you to reread the final paragraph of it, because it is in that final paragraph that Michael Mann tells us the most powerful thing that anyone in the United States can do to help protect the environment and to help basically do what we can to fight climate change. If you don't want to read it yourself, don't worry. I'll read it to you. "We must transition away from fossil fuels toward renewable energy even more rapidly, and we must elect politicians who will support such efforts. In the US, there's an opportunity to do so in less than two months now in the upcoming midterm elections, where we must elect politicians who support enlightened policies on energy and climate, and vote out of office those who don't." Now, there's a lot of steps that need to be taken in order to reduce our emissions, help combat climate change effectively, get renewable energy going. All of those are things that need to be done. We have to fix factory farming, but nothing, none of that can even be done if we have a government controlled by people who routinely deny that science is real. That's the point that Michael Mann is trying to make there. Dr. Mann understands that. He knows that as long as we get these politicians who are funded by fossil fuel interests, who go to work on the Senate floor and throw a snowball and say, "If global warming's a thing, how is there a snowball here? Huh? Think about that." As long as we have morons like that in the US Senate or the US House, we will never be able to get any kind of meaningful action on climate change ever, and even Obama. I mean, look, he did talk a great game on climate change. He did some great things on it. He also took a couple steps backwards on the issue. I mean, oil drilling, offshore drilling in the United States hit a record pace at the time under his administration, but at least we were also putting other things in place to help control emissions from power plants, trying to protect waters and streams.

Here they've built a Disney dreamscape consisting of five hotels surrounded by theme parks, as well as four airports. 7. The World Islands This carefully crafted archipelago is made up of small islands that are roughly placed according to our world map, every tiny tuft of land measuring about 100 meters apart. The islands are composed of sand dredged from the shallow coastal waters of Dubai. 6. Garbage Island Geographically connected to the Vaadhoo channel, an artificial island was built on reclaimed coral reefs in 1992. This environment is not so stunning, as the island’s sole purpose was to act as a municipal dumping ground for over 300 tons of trash and debris. In 2005, it was estimated that 31,000 truckloads teeming with trash are transported to Garbage Island annually. 5. Flamingo Island The island takes the shape as a giant ‘S’ when seen from an aerial point of view and second, the site is an important breeding ground for the lesser flamingo. Here you’ll find that less is more, for almost 50,000 hot pink birds can be found here, ever since its construction by Ekapa Mining using 26,000 tons of material to build the island back in 2006. 4. The Palm Islands On the coast of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, one can find three sets of manmade islands— The Palm Islands. Of all three projects only one island is complete so far, the Palm Jumeirah, aptly shaped like a large palm tree. From an aerial view, this circular land formation looks like a landing strip for an extraterrestrial spacecraft, yet from the ground, the area is bustling with a large number of residential properties, entertainment centers, and the sparkling Atlantis resort 3. The Artificial Islands of Uros This curious range of bundled grasses with its reed-roofed housing is like stepping back in time. It is here that the Uros, a pre-Incan group of people in Peru, reside on artificial islands in Lake Titicaca. The manmade landmass was constructed from totora reeds growing along the edge of the lake and bundled together to make floating island platforms. 2. China’s Not-so-Secret, Secret China’s secret in the South China Sea has caused attention, and a little bit of alarm, at the speed and scale of their island-building spree. A recent announcement proudly renders the project nears completion, as the process of moving sediment from the seafloor to a reef, has put the foundation in check, now, all they need to focus on is construction. These new installations— the Spratly Islands— are a strategic scattering of land in the sea, more than 500 miles from the Chinese mainland. China regulates the primary foothold here, despite 6 other countries with territorial claims on a few other islands in the area. 1. Spiral Island Richard Sowa— a British environmentalist and architect— is dedicated to living a self-sustaining life with his Japanese bride, a former supermodel who is as enthusiastic about their floating solar-powered fortress as he is. Made from 250,000 recycled plastic bottles and collected seashells, Sowa is an eco-friendly genus who built the entire abode with his own two hands. Welcome to Spiral Island in Mexico, which was originally built back in 1998 and consisted of a stable three-story home with three showers, two pools, a jacuzzi, and a wave-powered washing machine.

Fight to protect Fiji reef from Chinese developer | 60 Minutes Australia
It started with a dream to create a patch of heaven in Fiji, a surfer’s paradise right near one of the world’s most legendary waves, Cloudbreak. Two Aussie mates, Navrin Fox and Woody Jack, obtained a 99-year lease on land on Malolo Island and planned a small and environmentally friendly resort. But then, to their horror and disgust, right next door bulldozers rolled in and started clearing everything in sight. The spectacular reef, sandy beach and pristine rainforest were all destroyed by Chinese developers determined to build, of all things, a $100 million casino. But as Liam Bartlett reports, far from being wiped out, the Aussie surfers refused to let the dirty rotten scoundrels get away with it. Most HEAVILY Guarded Homes In The WORLD!
Check out the most heavily guarded homes in the world! This top 10 list has some of the highest security places that exist right now on earth. Good luck getting in! The Zombie Bunker In a world where The Walking Dead is one of the biggest TV shows on Earth, you might think that there are people crazy enough to want to build their own zombie shelter should the worst come to pass. And...you would be right in making that assumption. In fact, not only does such a shelter exist, it exists in a place you might not expect: London, England. 8. Bill Gates’ Home Ah, Bill Gates, the creator of Microsoft, the owner of DOS, one of the masterminds behind the Xbox, and one of the most charitable men on the planet. Gates has a reputation for being kind and generous, and wants to help the world however he can. But, that doesn't mean he wants people invading his privacy and invading his massive mansion. 7. Fair Field Estate From one rich mogul to another, we now head to the Hamptons. For those who don't know, this is where a lot of wealthy New Yorkers and other rich people go to during the Summer months to get away from it all. All these rich people need security. As a side note, this area was the "setting" of the hit USA TV show Royal Pains, and they did a good job interpreting how rich and lavish some of the people in the Hamptons are, but, nothing compares to the Fairfield Estate in terms of both lavishness and security. 6. The Kardashians The life of celebrities can be a bit complicated, full of pitfalls and dangers that us "common folk" can't understand. While they seem to want to be showered with attention and share all their private details with the world, at the same time they are adamant about their safety and their privacy. Only the best of the best in security guards are allowed to work at the Kardashian manor. 5. The Corbi Family Residence We've already seen just how far certain rich people will go to protect themselves, but in the case of the Corbi Family, they take things really far. This place is a fortress!! SAFE security firm founder Al Corbi built the house in 2001. SAFE is short for Strategically Armored & Fortified Environments so of course his house has to be good!! 4. Ryongsong Residence When you're the leader of a country that isn't quite well respected, you better believe that you need a good security system. And in the case of North Korea, especially in light of recent events, that need for security has never been higher. Yet, ruler Kim Jong Un has done very well in making the home of the Royal Family of North Korea very secure. Ryongsong Residence is nearly impenetrable. 3. The Maximum Security Mansion Ok, let's be honest here, if you live in a place that is called the "Maximum Security Mansion", it better live up to the hype. And this one most certainly does. Located in Evergreen, Colorado, this mansion is without a doubt one of the most secure buildings on the planet. The cost of protecting this 32-acre estate comes in at around $6 million dollars. That's a lot of protection, but then again, there's a lot to protect. 2. The White House Is it really a surprise that the place where the President of the United States lives is on this list? Because it shouldn't be. The White House is one of the most secure places on the planet. It has now housed 45 different Presidents, and through the centuries of its existence it's grown and evolved into one of the safest buildings ever. Which, again, makes sense, as it houses one of the most important people in the world. 1. Buckingham Palace God save the Queen. In this case, literally. Much like the White House, Buckingham Palace is a popular tourist destination, but don't let that fool you, this place is one of the most heavily guarded places in the world. And despite some scares and breaches of security (on a small scale), its defenses have never truly been breached. Origins Explained is the place to be to find all the answers to your questions, from mysterious events and unsolved mysteries to everything there is to know about the world and its amazing animals!

Hotels find innovative ways to protect the environment
(27 Aug 2018) LEADIN Sustainable tourism is a growing part of the UK hotel industry, with consumers driving the demand to go greener. Hoteliers are looking for new and innovative ways protect the environment and promote ethical values. STORYLINE Buttercups, crocuses and even strawberries sit amongst 10,000 herbaceous plants, growing over a 350 square metre wall at this hotel in central London. The Rubens at the Palace hotel's 'Living Wall' not only looks striking - it provides a habitat for wildlife, improves the air quality in this busy part of Victoria and also helps insulate the building it grows on. The historic hotel, situated opposite the Royal Mews of Buckingham Palace, has a longstanding commitment to sustainable tourism. It's recently launched a "Go Green" initiative for guests, to help make their stay healthier and more environmentally friendly. "The 'Living Wall' gives us the opportunity to support insects and wildlife, it helps us reduce energy consumption by keeping the building cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. It helps reduce localised drainage and it helps us contribute to keeping a cleaner air for the local environment," says the hotel's General Manager, Malcolm Hendry. Guests opting for the hotel's "Go Green" package also get an outdoor exercise session, a discount for using the capital's public bicycle hire scheme, and a vegan afternoon tea. "Veganism, it's not a trend anymore it's a culture, it's growing, you can't deny that. So being a hotelier is all about offering choices, you know we have our traditional afternoon tea which sits alongside, quite proudly, our vegan tea," explains Hendry. Going green at The Rubens at the Palace is not a new concept. The hotel has an internal Corporate Social Responsibility Team which looks for new ways to minimise the hotel's impact on the environment. This includes sourcing energy efficient light bulbs, recycling candles, soaps and shampoos, and the elimination of single use plastics. The hotel aims to be completely plastic free by 2022. Sustainability in hotels has never been more talked about, with recent research highlighting how harmful tourism can be to the environment. The tourism sector causes around five percent of man-made CO2 emissions globally, according to estimates by the UN World Tourism Organization. And consumers are rapidly becoming more aware of this. "We've seen more and more people take part and choose to be part of our linen programmes, choose to use our recycling facility in the bedrooms. We see more and more people at that reservation stage asking, almost challenging us to prove that our business sits in line with their choices and their lifestyle before they commit to come and stay with us," says Hendry. In Whitechapel, east London, this Instagrammable, design hotel called Qbic was designed with affordability and sustainability at its roots. Describing itself as "the greenest hotel in London" it has already broken hotel benchmarks for reducing CO2, power and water use. Created from a disused office block in 2013, 80 percent of the materials which were taken out of the building were put back in again to reduce environmental impact. Its quirky pop up rooms called 'Qbis' take just three hours to install and contain a bed and bathroom, plus all the electricity and water required, which helps to keep costs and energy use low. She points to Qbic's special water saving shower heads as one of the features of the Qbi. A clever mix of air and water means less water gets wasted. How to green the world's deserts and reverse climate change | Allan Savory
"Desertification is a fancy word for land that is turning to desert," begins Allan Savory in this quietly powerful talk. And terrifyingly, it's happening to about two-thirds of the world's grasslands, accelerating climate change and causing traditional grazing societies to descend into social chaos. Savory has devoted his life to stopping it. He now believes -- and his work so far shows -- that a surprising factor can protect grasslands and even reclaim degraded land that was once desert. MARVEL SPIDER MAN Shattered Dimensions (The Amazing Spider-Man) Spiderman vs Sandman Ending Part
MARVEL gameplay today consists on Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions which is a video game based on the Marvel Comics superhero Spider-Man. We got 2 play as four Spider-Man those all 4 of those characters include Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Man 2099 and the one showcased here is The Amazing Spider-Man variant universe. Amazing Spider-Man uses a combination of melee and web-attacks, mixing up-close and long range combat. He can deal increased damage by using weapons created by using webbing on the environment. The Amazing Spider-Man finds his next fragment at an abandoned Roxxon Industries quarry in the desert, but just as he is about to claim it, Sandman shows up and takes it instead, using its power to take over the quarry and create minions which attack Spider-Man. Spider-Man makes his away through the tunnels and defeats Sandman and his minions multiple times using water, but this angers Sandman and causes him to turn into a giant tornado. Nevertheless, Spider-man defeats Sandman for the final time and claims his fragment. SPIDERMAN Shattered Dimensions is about Mysterio attempting to steal an artifact known as "The Tablet of Order and Chaos", but is then stopped by the Amazing Spider-Man, who accidentally breaks the tablet in 17 fragments. While Mysterio escapes with a fragment, Madame Web appears and reveals to Spider-Man that 12 of the fragments have been scattered to three other realities across the multiverse, including the Noir, 2099, and Ultimate universes, each of them with their own unique Spider-Man. To restore balance to the multiverse, Madame Web also recruits Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Man 2099, and a black-suited Ultimate Spider-Man to retrieve the fragments from their respective worlds. After a short tutorial, each Spider-Man easily retrieves their first fragment and returns to Madame Web, who warns them that, even shattered, the tablet can grant great powers and thus must not fall into the wrong hands. Meanwhile, Mysterio discovers that his fragment has granted him real magic powers. *All gameplay is my own & is edited by me to better a viewers understanding of how to progress through a videogame by trying to educate via an entertainment medium, there are different types of learners I for one learn better with visuals such as the one provided*

Exposing Australia’s recycling lie | 60 Minutes Australia
There is no doubt Australia is one of the most wasteful nations in the world, so the practice of recycling helps to lessen our guilt. As we drag our bins out for collection each week, we feel like we’re helping the environment. But the reality is that we’re all being conned. Right now, Australia is stuck in an unsightly and worsening recycling crisis. What is being done with plastic waste, the material most people think would be easy to salvage and re-use, is of the greatest concern. As Liam Bartlett discovers, most of it ends up either being buried or worse – exported to countries like Malaysia, a place we are now treating like a garbage bin. The deep ocean is the final frontier on planet Earth | The Economist
Watch the latest in the Ocean series - How sea cucumbers can help the ocean: https://youtu.be/VCsD7NcQV1w The ocean covers 70% of our planet. The deep-sea floor is a realm that is largely unexplored, but cutting-edge technology is enabling a new generation of aquanauts to go deeper than ever before. Click here to subscribe to The Economist on YouTube: http://econ.trib.al/rWl91R7 Beneath the waves is a mysterious world that takes up to 95% of Earth's living space. Only three people have ever reached the bottom of the deepest part of the ocean. The deep is a world without sunlight, of freezing temperatures, and immense pressure. It's remained largely unexplored until now. Cutting-edge technology is enabling a new generation of aquanauts to explore deeper than ever before. They are opening up a whole new world of potential benefits to humanity. The risks are great, but the rewards could be greater. From a vast wealth of resources to clues about the origins of life, the race is on to the final frontier The Okeanos Explorer, the American government state-of-the-art vessel, designed for every type of deep ocean exploration from discovering new species to investigating shipwrecks. On board, engineers and scientists come together to answer questions about the origins of life and human history. Today the Okeanos is on a mission to investigate the wreck of a World War one submarine. Engineer Bobby Moore is part of a team who has developed the technology for this type of mission. The “deep discover”, a remote operating vehicle is equipped with 20 powerful LED lights and designed to withstand the huge pressure four miles down. Equivalent to 50 jumbo jets stacked on top of a person While the crew of the Okeanos send robots to investigate the deep, some of their fellow scientists prefer a more hands-on approach. Doctor Greg stone is a world leading marine biologist with over 8,000 hours under the sea. He has been exploring the abyss in person for 30 years. The technology opening up the deep is also opening up opportunity. Not just to witness the diversity of life but to glimpse vast amounts of rare mineral resources. Some of the world's most valuable metals can be found deep under the waves. A discovery that has begun to pique the interest of the global mining industry. The boldest of mining companies are heading to the deep drawn by the allure of a new Gold Rush. But to exploit it they're also beating a path to another strange new world. In an industrial estate in the north of England, SMD is one of the world's leading manufacturers of remote underwater equipment. The industrial technology the company has developed has made mining possible several kilometers beneath the ocean surface. With an estimated 150 trillion dollars’ worth of gold alone, deep-sea mining has the potential to transform the global economy. With so much still to discover, mining in the deep ocean could have unknowable impact. It's not just life today that may need protecting; reaching the deep ocean might just allow researchers to answer some truly fundamental questions. Hydrothermal vents, hot springs on the ocean floor, are cracks in the Earth's crust. Some claim they could help scientists glimpse the origins of life itself. We might still be years away from unlocking the mysteries of the deep. Even with the latest technology, this kind of exploration is always challenging. As the crew of the Okeanos comes to terms with a scale of the challenge and the opportunity that lies beneath, what they and others discover could transform humanity's understanding of how to protect the ocean. It's the most hostile environment on earth, but the keys to our future may lie in the deep. HADZA - hunter gatherers protect the global environment
Working together with Carbon Tanzania, the Hadza are an early human culture working with innovative conservation to protect forests in the modern world. This forest conservation project is helping prevent the deforestation, which undermines Hadza livelihood and way of life. The sustainable forest management that this tribe is engaging with is financed by carbon balanced businesses. It is a model for forest management and protection of the global ecosystem. For more visit: https://www.clevel.co.uk/carbon-offset-projects/hadza-hunter-gatherers-tanzania/ Carbon Tanzania work in the Yaeda Valley with the Hadza tribe to protect their traditional rangelands, areas that are important wildlife corridors for threatened elephant, lion and cheetah two populations. The work is implementing combined land-use strategies and conservation programs. These are financed by selling holistic carbon credits to local and international buyers, enabling them to balance their carbon footprints. The Hadza tribe have been part of this landscape in northern Tanzania for tens of thousands of years. They are first people, and like the Bushmen the Kalahari, are amongst the few remaining hunter-gatherer peoples. Carbon Tanzania was founded by Mark Baker not only to protect the Hadza lands and their ecosystems but also to provide a model program for viable and sustainable forest management. "What Carbon Tanzania does, is measure the above ground carbon in the forest that's protected for the Hazdabe and also work with the process of deforestation to put money into the community to realise the value of this forest that the Hazdabe want to protect, but in many ways lack the ability or the means to protect it. Currently if the deforestation rate continues the Hadza are likely to lose their forest, their way of life and their land in 25 years." In the past three decades the last of the first, the one thousand or so Hadza, have faced massive change from surrounding population pressure, large-scale conversion to agriculture and land incursions by cattle herding people, and vital to these hunter-gatherers, wild game numbers have declined from illegal poaching. "A lot of the people who are coming into this area are desperate for land. The issue surrounding climate change and climate instability in this region means that more and more people are failing with agriculture." Carbon Tanzania works to strengthen legal land right the Hadza and enforcing land use plans at both village and government level. "The first step for the project was a land use plan that was created by the Hadza people. The plan was really made over several years and taking into account all of the environmental factors within this area and all the different people that need to utilise it to survive. What they did was designate areas, one of these areas is for farming, one areas for pastoralist or cattle, and another area that is protected for the use of Hadzabe." Marc works together with project leaders from the Hadza tribe like Pili. They organise teams to patrol the area preventing illegal tree cutting habitat destruction. "Carbon Tanzania is paying through a system of carbon credits, to protect this forest along with the Wahadzabe. We measured the carbon inside the protected area and then we link that with businesses who want to offset or balance their emissions and we put the money into the community to help the community prevent the deforestation." Tropical woodlands and forests play an important role in regulating atmospheric carbon dioxide levels, because most emissions in tropical countries are coming from deforestation and degradation, preventing habitat loss has an impact at a global level. "In simple terms, a hectare of acacia commiphora woodland, the carbon stored in these trees, is 45 flights from Europe to Tanzania return." The revenue from carbon offset purchases is used fund the Hadxa patrols. But the money is also used to provide access to healthcare and education. This project therefore provides an example how communities can create value from sustainably managing their land. "It gives people an alternative land-use choice. It gives people a chance to earn an income, but at the same time manage their lands use in a way that's beneficial to wildlife and beneficial to the environment and of course, an environment in this context is absorbing and holding carbon emissions, so is part of a global movement in mitigate climate change." Working together with Carbon Tanzania, the Hadza are an early human culture working with innovative conservation to protect forests in the modern world.
