This is one of the sql questions that is very commonly asked. I have a web page with a textbox. When I enter a table name in the textbox and when I click "Load Data" button, we want to retrieve data from that respective table and display it on the page. Copy the SQL Script to create the tables from my blog using the link below http://csharp-video-tutorials.blogspot.com/2017/04/dynamic-sql-table-name-variable.html Create the following stored procedure. Notice we are passing table name as a parameter to the stored prcoedure. In the body of the stored procedure we are concatenating strings to build our dynamic sql statement. In our previous videos we discussed that this open doors for SQL injection. Create procedure spDynamicTableName @TableName nvarchar(100) As Begin Declare @sql nvarchar(max) Set @sql = 'Select * from ' + @TableName Execute sp_executesql @sql End So the obvious question that comes to our mind is, why are we not creating parameterised sql statement instead. The answers is we can't. SQL Server does not allow table names and column names to be passed as parameters. Notice in the example below, we are creating a parameterised query with @TabName as a parameter. When we execute the following code, the procedure gets created successfully. Create procedure spDynamicTableName1 @TableName nvarchar(100) As Begin Declare @sql nvarchar(max) Set @sql = 'Select * from @TabName' Execute sp_executesql @sql, N'@TabName nvarchar(100)', @TabName = @TableName End But when we try to execute it we get an error - Must declare the table variable "@TabName" Execute spDynamicTableName1 N'Countries' Add a Web Page to the project that we have been working with in our previous video. Name it "DynamicTableName.aspx". Copy and paste the HTML from my blog using the link below http://csharp-video-tutorials.blogspot.com/2017/04/dynamic-sql-table-name-variable.html Copy and paste the code from my blog in the code-behind page http://csharp-video-tutorials.blogspot.com/2017/04/dynamic-sql-table-name-variable.html At this point, run the application and type the following text in the "Table Name" textbox and click "Load Data" button. Notice "SalesDB" database is dropped. Our application is prone to SQL injection as we have implemented dynamic sql in our stored procedure by concatenating strings instead of using parameters. Employees; Drop database SalesDB One way to prevent SQL injection in this case is by using SQL Server built-in function - QUOTENAME(). We will discuss QUOTENAME() function in detail in our next video. For now understand that by default, this function wraps that string that is passed to it in a pair of brackets. SELECT QUOTENAME('Employees') returns [Employees] Modify the stored procedure to use QUOTENAME() function as shown below. Alter procedure spDynamicTableName @TableName nvarchar(100) As Begin Declare @sql nvarchar(max) Set @sql = 'Select * from ' + QUOTENAME(@TableName) Execute sp_executesql @sql End At this point, type the following text in the "Table Name" textbox and click "Load Data" button. Notice you will see a message - Invalid object name 'Employees; Drop database SalesDB'. Also "SalesDB" database is not dropped. Employees; Drop database SalesDB The entire text in "Table Name" textbox is wrapped in a pair of brackets by the QUOTENAME function and is treated as table name. Since we do have a table with the specified name, we get the error - Invalid object name.

Oracles Game: Civil War - Final Cinematic Trailer

03:24
With the only 6 weeks away from our Kickstarter campaign, here is our FINAL cinematic trailer featuring the augmented reality mobile application with the all the full Oracles story. GAME CONCEPT: Oracles Game is a 2 to 10 player, team oriented, combat strategy game that combines augmented reality and conventional board game features. Designed to work with its exclusive free AR mobile application, “Oracles Game” elevates board game to a whole new level. Players split into two teams, choose a leader on each side and start the game with the goal to occupy the enemy’s tavern. On their journey, players will face obstacles, mystery chests, dragons, sea monsters and dark forest creatures challenging them for their lives. The leader, using the included augmented reality mobile application, will guide other players through the dangers of the game and in to victory. In this section we will try to have a general overview of the game and the game mechanics. Please stay tuned for more information to come. GAME MODES: The game can be played in a few different mode: 1-Oracles Mode: Each team chooses a leader, “The Oracle”. Using his/her mobile application, Oracle will guide members to avoid augmented reality obstacles. In this mode only oracle sees the augmented reality elements. In addition, Oracle must have the control of two characters called “The Healer” and “The Messenger” to decide who to help and who to deliver life saving items. 2-Full Augmented Reality Mode: All players will see the augmented reality obstacles on the map by using their mobile devices or mirroring one mobile device to a larger screen. In this mode, all players will have the equal advantage and therefore there is no need for a leader to guide each player. 3-No Augmented Reality mode: If for any reason players prefer not to use the augmented reality feature, the game comes with mystery chest tokens and a set of cards that can be used in accordance with the rule book. In this mode no mobile device is needed and choosing a leader is not mandatory. THE GOAL: There is no individual winning for players and only a team as a whole can win the game, therefore it is very important that all team members co-operate and have a good strategy. Each team can win in two different ways: 1-Occupying the opposition tavern: One of the characters must pass all the obstacles and reach the opposition tavern while they are still alive. This will mark the end of the game. 2-Total Stars: By counting the total stars (strength) of all characters after an agreed period of time, the winning team is declared. The team with the highest total number of stars will be the winner. In this mode, the game duration will be determined at the beginning of the game by leaders’ negotiation or during the game if both sides agree. For more info on the stories of ORACLES and the game mechanics, pre-register for our weekly newsletter and automatically be entered for our weekly FREE game giveaway @ www.oraclesgame.com.

Every VARCHAR2(N) Declaration a Bug in PL/SQL!?

07:51
Every VARCHAR2(N) Declaration a Bug!? That's right. VARCHAR2 declarations mean that you have to provide an "N" or constraint on the size of the variable. If you have such declarations all over your code, that's a form of hard-coding and you are likely to get hammered by VALUE_ERROR exceptions. This video shows how to fix this problem. See the Practically Perfect PL/SQL YouTube channel for related videos. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpJpLMRm452kVcie3RpINPw ============================================ Copyright © 2015 Oracle and/or its affiliates. PLS-2: My First PL/SQL Program

11:34
For Full Course Experience Please Go To http://mentorsnet.org/course_preview?course_id=5 Full Course Experience Includes 1. Access to course videos and exercises 2. View & manage your progress/pace 3. In-class projects and code reviews 4. Personal guidance from your Mentors Goal is to write your first PL/SQL program. The basic program unit in PL/SQL is the block. A PL/SQL block is defined by the keywords DECLARE, BEGIN, EXCEPTION, and END. These keywords partition the block into a declarative part, an executable part, and an exception-handling part. Example of a Block DECLARE bonus NUMBER(8,2); emp_id NUMBER(6) := 100; BEGIN SELECT salary * 0.10 INTO bonus FROM employees WHERE employee_id = emp_id; Exception When NO_DATA_FOUND THEN null ; END; This is a typical PL/SQL block where 10% of salary is selected and stored on a temp variables bonus. If for some reason there is no employee with empid = 100 then the control will come to exception area and the code in the exception area will be executed. These blocks can be entirely separate or nested one within another. The basic units (procedures and functions, also known as subprograms, and anonymous blocks) that make up a PL/SQL program are logical blocks, which can contain any number of nested sub blocks. Therefore, one block can represent a small part of another block, which in turn can be part of the whole unit of code. Anonymous Blocks Anonymous blocks are unnamed blocks. They are declared at the point in an application where they are to be executed and are passed to the PL/SQL engine for execution at run time. You can embed an anonymous block within a pre-compiler program and within iSQL*Plus or Server Manager. Triggers in Oracle Developer components consist of such blocks. Subprograms Subprograms are named PL/SQL blocks that can accept parameters and can be invoked. You can declare them either as procedures or as functions. Generally use a procedure to perform an action and a function to compute a value. You can store subprograms at the server or application level. Using Oracle Developer components (Forms, Reports, and Graphics), you can declare procedures and functions as part of the application (a form or report) and call them from other procedures, functions, and triggers (see next page) within the same application whenever necessary. Note: A function is similar to a procedure, except that a function must return a value.

Osun Election: Riggers will be punished by God--Egbeji Oloogun

04:47
A seer, His Royal Highness, Oba Augustine Bola Adegunloye, the EGBEJI OLOOGUN of Nigeria has revealed that the September 22, 2018 Osun State gubernatorial election might be tough, but he warned that riggers will be faced with the wrath of God. The Egbeji who warned stake holders in the state to stay away from rigging revealed that the oracle favors the emergence of Senator Demola Adeleke as majority of the people of the state are tired of the antecedents of the incumbent Governor Rauf Aregbesola and his party--the APC. The Egbeji thereby warned that riggers are liable to face the wrath of God as Osun State is not Ekiti state where things could be taken for granted. He warned that Osun as the state of the Irunmoles (gods) should not be toyed with, and the winner must be declared 'the winner' not 'the loser'. The Egbeji Oloogun who predicted the fall of ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and the rise of President Muhammadu Buhari in 2015 was the one who also predicted the illness of President Buhari in 2016. Recently, he predicted the success of APC in Ekiti state, adding that the election will be rigged and it came to pass as the election was adjudged to have been won vie vote buying. In this broadcast, Oba Adegunloye, the elderly seer warns INEC (Independent National Electoral Commission) and other stakeholders to be fair and truthful as the oracle reveals that PDP's Senator Demola Adeleke is the most favored candidate in the coming election. The art of building Java APIs: Do's and Don'ts - Jonathan Giles

48:04
As developers we build on the shoulders of giants - using APIs developed by others to propel ourselves further forward. We often find ourselves in the position where we must provide our own APIs for other developers to use. Building a Java API is not without perils -we must know the features of the language extremely well, we must understand the implications of breaking compatibility, we must own many other responsibilities such as creating excellent documentation, and most importantly, we must practice restraint. This session will give an introduction to developers on how they should develop their own APIs, whether it be for internal use, an open source project, or a commercial library. The focus is purely on building Java APIs, not REST APIs or anything else! Jonathan has over 10 years experience building Java APIs, firstly at Sun Microsystems and Oracle in the Java team working on Java releases 7, 8, 9, and 10, and more recently he has joined Microsoft as a cloud developer advocate, where he works closely with the engineering teams to improve the Java API offering for Azure. This session will work through tips that developers should follow, and advice for developers to avoid.

Java Development Kit 8 - Java SDK 8 Oracle

03:40
How to set up Java Development Kit 8 - Java SKD 8 Oracle The video tutorial teaching all the necessary set to set up your Java development environment. Java is leading the world from web applications to smart phone devices like android. Java is everywhere. The quicker you shift to learn this wonderful language the better equip you will be ahead of the game. Java is a strongly type language which means that all variables type must be declared first before you. When you use the Java compiler to convert your java file into a JVM (Java Virtual Machine) executable the compiler will turn your code into bytecode. Java does not support pointers like very popular languages like C and C++. This is because of security issue with accessing the memory location which can lead to exploits. Even worst can bypass the firewall is code memory location is known. In the tutorial I begin by referencing the Java website to set up the base. Then I refer to the source development kit to start creating and compiling your own code. The compiler makes use of the javac “FILENAME.java” command to run the compiler. If you need to know the current java version running on your machine use the java -version command inside of command prompt. Once we have installed the basic’s in the video then I go ahead and show you an example program that we can write and run. I used the text editor of notepad ++ to accomplish this task. I have placed a download link below if you would like to use it as well. https://java.com/en/ http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html https://notepad-plus-plus.org/ Source code used in the video for the Java File class HelloYoutubers{ public static void main(String args[]){ System.out.println(hold()); } public static String hold(){ return "Hello Youtubers"; } } Thank you for watching this video and being a part of the YouTube community. Why Do Kirtan | 4 Benefits Of Kirtan | Swami Mukundananda

13:00
JKYog presents Swami Mukundananda's explanation on 'why do kirtan' and on the importance of kirtan. On the spiritual journey, when we pretend to be sophisticated and knowledgeable, we think kirtan is not for us and rather run after things like kundalini jagran etc. The fact is that the Vedas have declared kirtan to be the Yuga-Dharma or the Dharma of this yug (Kali-yug). In fact, it is the most powerful form . In this lecture, Swami Mukundananda delves deeper into the reasons why kirtan is a great helper to sadhana and what should we remember while doing kirtans. Some of them are summarized below. #1 Our mind wants variety. Kirtans from Saints have a variety of God's names, forms, virtues, and pastimes of God and Guru and hence provide enormous variety to absorb the mind in devotion #2 Kirtan can be done in a congregation and easily blocks off worldly distractions #3 Sleep also does not torment us in Kirtans #4 Kirtan meditation purifies our mind from inside (Worth LISTENING to this point's explanation in the lecture!) Finally, Swamiji explains that the most important thing in a kirtan is the remembering of God. This will bring us to a higher state of meditation. MUST LISTEN to the full lecture to understand the points in depth and sing the glories of God using the power of kirtan. About Swami Mukundananda: Swami Mukundananda is a renowned spiritual leader, philosopher, visionary, author, and humanitarian.  He is the founder of the yogic system called “JKYog.”  Swamiji is a unique sanyasi (in the renounced order of life), with distinguished degrees in Engineering and Management from two world famous Institutes in India, IIT and IIM.  He is a senior disciple of Jagadguru Shree Kripaluji Maharaj. Table valued parameters in SQL Server

06:46
table valued parameters example send table variable to stored procedure pass table variable as parameter to stored procedure pass table variable to sql stored procedure In this video we will discuss table valued parameters in SQL Server. Table Valued Parameter is a new feature introduced in SQL SERVER 2008. Table Valued Parameter allows a table (i.e multiple rows of data) to be passed as a parameter to a stored procedure from T-SQL code or from an application. Prior to SQL SERVER 2008, it is not possible to pass a table variable as a parameter to a stored procedure. Let us understand how to pass multiple rows to a stored procedure using Table Valued Parameter with an example. We want to insert multiple rows into the following Employees table. SQL Script to create the Employees table Create Table Employees ( Id int primary key, Name nvarchar(50), Gender nvarchar(10) ) Go Step 1 : Create User-defined Table Type CREATE TYPE EmpTableType AS TABLE ( Id INT PRIMARY KEY, Name NVARCHAR(50), Gender NVARCHAR(10) ) Go Step 2 : Use the User-defined Table Type as a parameter in the stored procedure. Table valued parameters must be passed as read-only to stored procedures, functions etc. This means you cannot perform DML operations like INSERT, UPDATE or DELETE on a table-valued parameter in the body of a function, stored procedure etc. CREATE PROCEDURE spInsertEmployees @EmpTableType EmpTableType READONLY AS BEGIN INSERT INTO Employees SELECT * FROM @EmpTableType END Step 3 : Declare a table variable, insert the data and then pass the table variable as a parameter to the stored procedure. DECLARE @EmployeeTableType EmpTableType INSERT INTO @EmployeeTableType VALUES (1, 'Mark', 'Male') INSERT INTO @EmployeeTableType VALUES (2, 'Mary', 'Female') INSERT INTO @EmployeeTableType VALUES (3, 'John', 'Male') INSERT INTO @EmployeeTableType VALUES (4, 'Sara', 'Female') INSERT INTO @EmployeeTableType VALUES (5, 'Rob', 'Male') EXECUTE spInsertEmployees @EmployeeTableType That's it. Now select the data from Employees table and notice that all the rows of the table variable are inserted into the Employees table. In our next video, we will discuss how to pass table as a parameter to the stored procedure from an ADO.NET application Text version of the video http://csharp-video-tutorials.blogspot.com/2015/09/table-valued-parameters-in-sql-server.html Slides http://csharp-video-tutorials.blogspot.com/2015/09/table-valued-parameters-in-sql-server_17.html All SQL Server Text Articles http://csharp-video-tutorials.blogspot.com/p/free-sql-server-video-tutorials-for.html All SQL Server Slides http://csharp-video-tutorials.blogspot.com/p/sql-server.html All Dot Net and SQL Server Tutorials in English https://www.youtube.com/user/kudvenkat/playlists?view=1&sort=dd All Dot Net and SQL Server Tutorials in Arabic https://www.youtube.com/c/KudvenkatArabic/playlists

PLSQL SUBPROGRAM ENGLISH TUTORIAL 2.

03:18
PLSQL SUBPROGRAM ENGLISH TUTORIAL 2. I PL/SQL (Procedural Language/Structured Query Language) is Oracle Corporation's procedural extension for SQL and the Oracle relational database. PL/SQL is available in Oracle Database (since version 7), TimesTen in-memory database (since version 11.2.1), and IBM DB2 (since version 9.7).[1] Oracle Corporation usually extends PL/SQL functionality with each successive release of the Oracle Database. It allows declaration of constants and variables, procedures and functions, types and variables of those types, and triggers. One can create PL/SQL units such as procedures, functions, packages, types, and triggers, which are stored in the database for reuse by applications that use any of the Oracle Database programmatic interfaces. PL/SQL works analogously to the embedded procedural languages associated with other relational databases. For example, Sybase ASE and Microsoft SQL Server have Transact-SQL, PostgreSQL has PL/pgSQL (which emulates PL/SQL to an extent), and IBM DB2 includes SQL Procedural Language,[2] which conforms to the ISO SQL’s SQL/PSM standard. The designers of PL/SQL modeled its syntax on that of Ada. Both Ada and PL/SQL have Pascal as a common ancestor, and so PL/SQL also resembles Pascal in several aspects. However, the structure of a PL/SQL package does not resemble the basic Object Pascal program structure as implemented by a Borland Delphi or Free Pascal unit. Programmers can define public and private global data-types, constants and static variables in a PL/SQL package.[3] PL/SQL also allows for the definition of classes and instantiating these as objects in PL/SQL code. This resembles usage in object-oriented programming languages like Object Pascal, C++ and Java. PL/SQL refers to a class as an "Abstract Data Type" (ADT) or "User Defined Type" (UDT), and defines it as an Oracle SQL data-type as opposed to a PL/SQL user-defined type, allowing its use in both the Oracle SQL Engine and the Oracle PL/SQL engine. The constructor and methods of an Abstract Data Type are written in PL/SQL. The resulting Abstract Data Type can operate as an object class in PL/SQL. Such objects can also persist as column values in Oracle database tables. PL/SQL is fundamentally distinct from Transact-SQL, despite superficial similarities. Porting code from one to the other usually involves non-trivial work, not only due to the differences in the feature sets of the two languages,[4] but also due to the very significant differences in the way Oracle and SQL Server deal with concurrency and locking. There are software tools available that claim to facilitate porting including Oracle Translation Scratch Editor,[5] CEITON MSSQL/Oracle Compiler [6] and SwisSQL.[7] The StepSqlite product is a PL/SQL compiler for the popular small database SQLite. PL/SQL Program Unit A PL/SQL program unit is one of the following: PL/SQL anonymous block, procedure, function, package specification, package body, trigger, type specification, type body, library. Program units are the PL/SQL source code that is compiled, developed and ultimately executed on the database. The basic unit of a PL/SQL source program is the block, which groups together related declarations and statements. A PL/SQL block is defined by the keywords DECLARE, BEGIN, EXCEPTION, and END. These keywords divide the block into a declarative part, an executable part, and an exception-handling part. The declaration section is optional and may be used to define and initialize constants and variables. If a variable is not initialized then it defaults to NULL value. The optional exception-handling part is used to handle run time errors. Only the executable part is required. A block can have a label. Package Packages are groups of conceptually linked functions, procedures, variables, PL/SQL table and record TYPE statements, constants, cursors etc. The use of packages promotes re-use of code. Packages are composed of the package specification and an optional package body. The specification is the interface to the application; it declares the types, variables, constants, exceptions, cursors, and subprograms available. The body fully defines cursors and subprograms, and so implements the specification. Two advantages of packages are: Modular approach, encapsulation/hiding of business logic, security, performance improvement, re-usability. They support object-oriented programming features like function overloading and encapsulation. Using package variables one can declare session level (scoped) variables, since variables declared in the package specification have a session scope. Rambling: Eileen Myles

04:52
Kicking off the first episode of our new series, Rambling—where we share inspirational walks with literary creatives—filmmaker Chelsea McMullan gets the low-down with legendary American poet, essayist and one-time presidential candidate Eileen Myles, perambulating and talking poetry through the streets of their adoptive home of New York. Myles's devil-may-care attitude and astute political observation—whether writing about radical queerness or hot-button global events—has marked them out as something of an oracle. Working-class in background, queer, and twenty books into a career that began in the 1970s, Myles is now firmly within the institutional overground. Myles's emergence into the mainstream has been accompanied by their shrugging attitude toward accolades and fêted celebration. They came to New York in 1974 to "become a poet," in their own words. But, in their 1991 poem 'Peanut Butter' they declared: "I am absolutely in opposition / to all kinds of / goals." It is this principled commitment that has surely marked Myles out in an age of fake news and changeability. Speaking about her candid profile of the prolific writer, McMullan observes: "Poetry and cinema often share this similar concern—how do you capture a moment as it happens? I wanted this film to reflect that voice of Eileen's work through our observation of them moving about their neighbourhood on the Lower East Side. There's no dawdling around Eileen—they move quickly and decisively, driven by a mind voraciously taking in the world around them." ___ Subscribe to NOWNESS here: http://bit.ly/youtube-nowness Like NOWNESS on Facebook: http://bit.ly/facebook-nowness Follow NOWNESS on Twitter: http://bit.ly/twitter-nowness Daily exclusives for the culturally curious: http://bit.ly/nowness-com Behind the scenes on Instagram: http://bit.ly/instagram-nowness Curated stories on Tumblr: http://bit.ly/tumblr-nowness Inspiration on Pinterest: http://bit.ly/pinterest-nowness Staff Picks on Vimeo: http://bit.ly/vimeo-nowness Subscribe on Dailymotion: http://www.dailymotion.com/nowness Follow NOWNESS on Google+: http://bit.ly/google-nowness

How to Set Environment Variables in Windows

01:27
Follow this step by step tutorial to learn how to set environment variables from system settings in the windows operating system. Don't forget to check out our site http://howtech.tv/ for more free how-to videos! http://youtube.com/ithowtovids - our feed http://www.facebook.com/howtechtv - join us on facebook https://plus.google.com/103440382717658277879 - our group in Google+ In this tutorial, you will learn how to set environment variables in windows. Operating systems require environment variables as settings and configurations for several processes. Although these variables are automatically defined or initialized during the installation of the system or specific software, in windows, to set environment variables manually is not a difficult task. That's because windows allows us to manually add, remove or edit environment variables through system settings according to our requirements. Step # 1 -- Opening environment variables In windows, to set environmental variables, you can take two paths. Either we can go to control panel, then access the system security option, and then the system option. Or we can simply right click on My Computer and select its properties. Once we are in the system window, select the advanced system settings from the list on the left side. A new window will pop up. Over here, click on the environment variables button near the bottom of this window and you can now access the Windows environment variables. Step # 2 -- Adding a variable In this window there are two sets of environment variables, one is the "user variables", and the other is the "system variables". Choose the new button in the user variables section to open the "define a new variable" dialog window. Over here, you will be required to define the variable name as anything you wish to set, such as temporary and then define its value as the path to the directory. With that done, let's complete this process by pressing OK. Your new environment variable has been created now. Step # 3 -- Editing and removing a variable To edit an environment variable, click on it, and then click on the edit button to open a dialog window. Here we can edit the name and value of the variable. Likewise to remove an environment variable, simply click on the variable and then click on the delete button. Once all the definitions are complete, close the window and restart your computer to allow the operating system to load these settings on boot. And that's basically all you need to know for how to set environment variables in windows.
Jimi Agbaje will emerge Governor of Lagos State in 2019--Egbeji Oloogun

10:57
In our first ever encounter with veteran seer, His Royal Highness, Oba (Dr.) Bola Adegunloye, the Egbeji Oloogun of Nigeria inside his Lagos shrine, he gave us series of prophetic declarations among which is the fact that People's Democratic Candidate in Lagos State, MR. JIMI AGBAJE will emerge as the next executive governor of the state in the coming March 2019 gubernatorial election. The highly gifted seer who predicted the winning of Osun State PDP gubernatorial candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke last year, which came to pass until an alleged kangaroo run-off election spiced with thug intimidation and other vices was carried out to put Mr. Gboyega Isiaka the candidate of APC in power (Senator Adeleke is challenging the re-run election in court) says he sees Lagosian giving their support to Mr. Jimi Agbaje in the coming election that has made Lagosians electrified in the last couple of weeks. Mr. Agbaje is contesting against Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Lagos State. Mr. Jimi Agbaje was rumored to have won the 2015 election that brought in Governor Akinwunmi Ambode but the later was declared winner in a neck-to-neck victory that saw Ambode escaping into victory with few hundreds of thousand votes. His Royal Highness, Chief (Dr.) Bola Adegunloye who started the year with a special prayer that saw him in confinement for days opened his shrine to us on Sunday January 13, 2019 as he made some declarations that will guarantee victory for the oppressed in Lagos state, giving spiritual assurance that MR. JIMI AGBAJE is the one the oracle chooses to liberate Lagosians from the bondage of Godfatherism and other economic vices. You will find his revelations interesting in this new video. Enjoy the clip! Zolna Report - We Could Be On The Precipice Of WW3!

NEWSWEEK - China: President Xi Jinping Tells Army to be Ready For Battle As Taiwan Calls For Support to Defend Democracy Chinese President Xi Jinping ordered the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) to prepare for battle on Friday, as Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-Wen called for international support to defend the island’s democracy amid renewed threats of unification from the mainland. Xi’s comments were made during a meeting with top officials from the Central Military Commission (CMC). “All military units must correctly understand major national security and development trends, and strengthen their sense of unexpected hardship, crisis and battle,” he said, according to the South China Morning Post. “[China must] prepare for a comprehensive military struggle from a new starting point… Preparation for war and combat must be deepened to ensure an efficient response in times of emergency," Xi said. The comments come just days after Xi declared that Taiwan is absolutely a part of China, encouraged unification between the two territories and reserved the right to use force to bring the self-ruled island under the mainland's control. Tsai condemned Xi’s comments and rejected the Chinese President’s “one country, two systems” proposal, telling reporters in Taipei: “We hope that the international community takes it seriously and can voice support and help us.” If a democratic country under threat does not receive assistance, “we might have to ask which country might be next?” Tsai said. Last March, Xi Jinping echoed the same sentiment at the National People’s Congress, where he warned Taiwan that those who wish to split China will be “doomed to fail” and will experience “the punishment of history.” https://www.newsweek.com/china-president-xi-jinping-tells-army-be-ready-battle-taiwan-calls-support-1280534

This video is part of LearnItFirst's Transact-SQL Programming: SQL Server 2008/R2 course. More information on this video and course is available here: http://www.learnitfirst.com/Course161 In order to best demonstrate the differences between the data types, Scott first shows you how to create variables. What is a variable, and what are the differences between scalar and table variables? Is a variable declared in one session available for access in other sessions? What is a good rule of thumb for deciding whether to use SELECT or SET for variable assignment? Scott clarifies all of that and more in this video. Highlights from this video: - Global variable vs. local variable - Understanding "scope" - How the batch terminator affects variables - Using SELECT and SET for variable assignment - Declaring multiple variables and much more...

12 Factor App

05:20
12 Factor App The Twelve-Factor App is a methodology for building software as a service applications. Codebase: There should be only 1 code base and it can be deployed many times like a running instance of the app. in dev, stage, prod This is one-to-one correlation between the codebase and the app 1) If there are multiple codebases, it’s not an app – it’s a distributed system 2) Multiple apps sharing the same code is a violation of twelve-factor. So the solution is to create libraries of shared code which can be included through the dependency manager. Dependencies: All dependencies should be declared in your manifests (e.g. pom.xml), And there should be no implicit reliance on system tools or libraries. Config: An app’s config is the only thing that is likely to vary between deploys (staging, production, developer environments, etc). The important rule here is – never commit your environment-specific configuration in the source code repo. One approach to config is the use of config files which are not checked into revision control, such as *.yml Backing Services: A backing service is any service the app consumes over the network as part of its normal operation. Examples 1) datastores (such as MySQL or CouchDB) 2) messaging/queueing systems (such as RabbitMQ or Beanstalkd) 3) SMTP services for outbound email (such as Postfix) 4) caching systems (such as Memcached). A deploy of the twelve-factor app should be able to swap out 1) Local MySQL database with one managed by a third party such as Amazon RDS without any changes to the app’s code. 2) A local SMTP server could be swapped with a third-party SMTP service without code changes. In both cases, only the resource handle in the config needs to change. Build, release, run: The delivery pipeline should strictly consist of build, release, run. The build stage is a transform which converts a code repo into an executable bundle known as a build. The release stage takes the build produced by the build stage and combines it with the deploy’s current config. The run stage runs the app in the execution environment. We cannot change the code in runtime environment. Processes: Twelve-factor processes are stateless and share-nothing. Any data that needs to persist must be stored in a stateful backing service, typically a database. So in case one instance of the application crashes it does not harm process of another instances Port binding: Explicitly export services via port binding. Instead on depending on external service like apache tomcat to handle incoming requests and decide which port to bind. Application should decide which port to bind. The twelve-factor app is completely self-contained and binds service to a network port. Concurrency: Scale out via the process model If a process or resource reaches its capacity of the container the application scales by adding another container this is horizontal scaling. We should take care the Concurrency is not compromised. Disposability: Maximize robustness with fast startup and graceful shutdown This means that application should start fast and should shut down quickly with closing all resources. Dev/prod parity: Keep development, staging, and production as similar as possible Same application should be deployed in all environments config file can differ. Logs: Treat logs as event streams Logs should be stored at a central place, as the applications in containers will start and stop and no data will be persisted in containers. Splunk or Elk tools can be used. Admin processes: Run admin/management tasks as one-off processes There are some one time scripts like running database migrations so these should run separately from our process.
