This is the story of a box, and the two girls who were tricked about it. Original Video: https://bit.ly/2NLJa5O Masa’s Channel: http://bit.ly/1ilR3xt This would’ve been done days sooner, but my computer died before I had saved the subtitles and I lost a few hours worth of effort, and then I was very busy over the weekend. Regardless, proud of how fast I got this out! Anyone else feel like the similarities to both Onibi and the Sister’s Story are just too coincidental…? Full lyrics below. TL Notes: The chorus end is written in Katakana, likely to give it an inhuman and “foreign” sound, as many of Masa’s other horror songs do; like Beheading Dance. However, because of this, it was difficult to know exactly how デキエタ was meant to be written: “dekieta” or “de kieta”. I translated it as the first, meaning “disappear”, however; “de kieta” means “to complete/be completed” basically, so there’s a very good chance it is also word play/has a double meaning. It also uses “hitori” which can either mean “one (person)” or “alone”, so I used both in this line since they are both thematically appropriate given the series’ meaning and implications. “All you have to forget is everything” is a bit verbose for the line, but I wanted to get the meaning across better. The original line is just “Just/only forget everything”. In some places I have “dearest you” instead of just “you” - this is because sometimes the song uses “kimi” and others “anata”. Because the song changes between the two, I translated “anata” to “the dearest you”, as “anata” is often used when speaking to somebody one is especially fond of; like a wife to a husband. Lyrics: Do you know about “that” box? Do you know the name of the secret? Nobody seems to know where “that” box is. “Huh? What? You wanna know?” Why would I know? so i guess a summary of the story could be Rama an anthropomorphic cat (very asexual) and her brother Isdit (homosexual 24/7) live in a city infested of demons, angels and damgels (an aftermath of a war that happened in that city years ago). Rama gets possessed by a demon called Elyot (or just Ely for short) and has to struggle to through a very abusive relationship with some help from her guard angel Terán (a bittersweet lesbian) and her brother. eventually their bond becomes slightly healthy but now Rama is being localized by some kind of anti-demon corporation and has to scape from them by all means necessary. and thats it i don't know how to summarize the rest because is too damn long song is Gumi - Secret Of The Goldfish
