(HTML/CSS/JS) Web Statis - Cascading Style Sheets

Build HTML Tables In WordPress | WP Learning Lab
Grab Your Free 17-Point WordPress Pre-Launch PDF Checklist: http://vid.io/xqRL Creating a WordPress HTML table is just like creating a regular HTML table only you're doing it in WordPress. You still use the same tags, table, tr, th, td and the same styles. Luckily, creating tables is quite easy and it's a great way to display data. The biggest drawback of tables is that they are not mobile responsive. So you need to test your tables on mobile to make sure they work how you expect. A good rule of thumb is to make sure that your table doesn't have too many columns because those are what will get in you trouble on mobile. Important table tags you need to know: table - this tag contains the table in its entirety. You can add specific parameters and styles to this tag. Parameters include border, cellpadding and cellspacing. The CSS using the style parameter to create inline styles and the sky is the limit if you know CSS. If you want to learn some CSS check out my CSS channel over here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeFLITjl2v9vtIkftw9UMsw tr - This tag defines the rows of the table. th - Is a special cell tag that goes inside the tr tags. It is the heading data cell. Anything you enter into this cell will centered and bolded. These cells are normally only contained in one row in a table (the heading row). Heading cells are optional. td - This is a regular data cell that will populate every other row in your table. These td tags will contain your data. You can have as many rows (tr) as you want. Inside the rows, the number of td tags will define how many columns your table has. Remember the more columns you have the more likely it is that your table won't be mobile optimized. I hope this information helps you! 5 Ways to Center with CSS! [VOICE TUTORIAL]
Hey! In this video I show you 5 different and equally useful ways to center different types of content with CSS! Method #1 - 0:30 Written Like: display: block; margin: 0 auto; Description: This method of centering is by far the one that I use the most. It is a simple, reliable and more of all quick way to center any sort of content, not just text. Method #2 - 2:05 Written Like: display: flex; align-items: center; justify-content center; Description: The flex property is one of the lesser known CSS properties and I think this is down to it being really temperamental. It takes a little practice to get good at but when you do, it's super powerful and you'll use it everyday. It also allows you to center without defining the width of the content. Method #3 - 3:50 Written Like: position: absolute; left: 50%; transform: translate -50%, 0; Put the -50%, 0 in brackets. YouTube wouldn't let me. Description: This is probably my second or third favourite means of centering with CSS and it seems crazy that it was set up to work this way. By setting the left property to 50% and then using transform to drag the content back by 50% of it's own width, it allows for content to be centered every time. This can be used for more than just text also! Method #4 - 5:30 Written Like: Type center in angle brackets and close it off. Anything inside will be centered. YouTube won't let me type angle brackets here. Description: I would not recommend this for every piece of content that you need to be centered. It has known compatibility issues with older browsers and website tests will flag this as being outdated. It is good however if you're testing as it's quick, easy to write and remember and to be honest, it works! Method #5 - 6:45 Written Like: text-align: center; Description: This is pure and simple CSS. This method is limited to just text but it is easy to write and will center your text with just this one parameter! Defining a method's body with parameter for CSS | Object-Oriented PHP | Section-1 | Part-6
In the former video lesson, we only went as much as to create a custom method signature but in this video, we will look at method declaration or definiion to its entirety. We started off with a method named container that will return the name of a CSS class inside the HTML list tags. To create this method's definition, we need to set a parameter with a default value to ensure that even if a value has not been passed, our CSS will still receive some sort of input for styling. Inside the method's body, we will perform a check on the class name. It is important to ensure that our class name is a string, therefore we will take the help of if-conditioning. Once it has been ensured, we will return a list tag inside an unordered HTML list. After completing the method declaration, we will implement it for testing with the default value.

Styling Pandas Dataframe Tables
This video will show you how styling Pandas dataframe tables just requires you to learn the hidden gem found within the Jupyter Notebook. Click on this video to learn more. What is Pandas? A Python data analysis library There is actually a couple things you need to know that makes styling dataframes possible. 1) Twitter Bootstrap 2) to_html If you have not watched my video on how to create dataframes you can see it here: https://youtu.be/rI0NfKKVkFE The Jupyter notebook uses Twitter Bootstrap (a front-end framework). Bootstrap actually has several HTML classes that allow you to style your HTML tables. This video shows you how you can apply those same styles to your dataframe tables. But before we can do this we need a way to add HTML classes to our dataframes. This is where the pandas .to_html() function comes into play. There is a parameter called "classes" that let's us use the Bootstrap table styling classes to our dataframes. Once we have applied the bootstrap classes, we simpy ask jupyter to render the HTML on the screen, and bam! you got a much better looking pandas dataframe. Understanding Margins In CSS
Hello Friends! In this tutorial I will teach you what is a margin in CSS and what are its properties and values. This tutorial is in Urdu/Hindi. CSS Margin is the space (area) around any HTML element outside of its border. We can set margin of any element respective to its four sides like top, right, bottom and left. If you assume any HTML element as a box or a rectangle that each element has four sides. We can set margin through CSS for its four sides or individually to the side specified in the parameter. Simple syntax of a margin includes the parameters such as length, percentage, auto, initial and inherit. We can give or set margin as a length in pixel or we can set as a percentage. The auto value set the element margin automatically by the browser. Auto value is very important in CSS in many situations we want an element to be center to the page so that by specifying margin to auto and give an element a specific width the element should be center to the browser window and auto divide the rest of space to equal margins from left and right side. In this way any element can be centered by setting margin value to auto and give an element the width. The initial value in margin is also very important so that it will set the element properties to its default value and override the styling given by explicitly. The inherit property in margin sets the properties to its parent element. We can set margin in CSS to all sides of an element or we can set margin in CSS to its individual side of an element. For this CSS provide us some properties such as margin-top, margin-right, margin-bottom and margin-left. By using these properties we can set any element margin to its specific side For example if you want to set top margin of an element only you would write simply margin-top and give its value in pixels. Similarly you can set margin bottom as specifying margin-bottom property and give its value in pixel. I hope that you would like this tutorial. Thanks for watching.

Cross-Site Scripting Explained - Part 9: CSS String Injection
Author: Jeremy Druin Twitter: @webpwnized Description: In this video we look at injecting cross site script into the stylesheet context. The example comes from the set-background color page in Mutillidae. The example is trivial but the point is that cross site scripting can occur in any context. Developers need to encode all output even when the output is not occurring in the standard HTML context. The software used in the demo is the OWASP Mutillidae II Web Pen-Test Practice Application. Mutillidae is a free, open source web application with vulnerabilities added to allow pen testers and security enthusiasts to test for defects. Mutillidae can be downloaded from Sourceforge. Angular optional route parameters

On some routes, the route parameters are required and on some routes they are optional. For example, when we navigate from Employees list route to employee details route, the employee id is a required route parameter. Without it, we wouldn't know which employee details to retrieve and display. Let us understand one use case for optional route parameter. If we have just viewed the details of the employee whose ID is 2 and if we navigate back to the employees LIST route, we want to pass the employee ID 2 in the URL as a route parameter to the LIST route, so that specific employee can be styled with a different colour indicating that, we have just viewed his details. On the other hand, if we navigate from the CREATE route to the LIST route, we do not have an employee ID to pass to the LIST route. So the ID has to be an optional route parameter on the LIST route. If the employee ID route parameter is present on the LIST route, then that specific employee panel will be styled with a colour different from the rest of the employees in the list. If the ID route parameter is not present, then all the employee panels will have the same colour. The following route is activated when we navigate from Employee LIST to employee DETAILS. To view a specific employee details, we need his or her ID. Hence in the following route, id is a required route parameter. { path: 'employees/:id', component: EmployeeDetailsComponent } A required route parameter is part of the route definition and is used in route pattern matching. When defining routes, in the route definition, we include a place holder for required route parameter. In the above route definition, ":id" is the placeholder for employee id required route parameter. Now if we want to view the details of an employee whose ID is 2, we will navigate to localhost:4200/employees/2 On the other hand, an optional route parameter is not part of the route definition and is not used in route pattern matching. When defining routes, we do not include a place holder for an optional route parameter like we do for the required route parameter. The following is the route for employee LIST. { path: 'list', component: ListEmployeesComponent } When navigating back to the employee LIST from employee DETAILS, we want to pass the ID of the employee whose DETAILS we have just viewed to the LIST route. So the LIST url, looks as shown below. Notice we are passing 2 as the value for id. In this url id is an optional route parameter. http://localhost:4200/list;id=2 To pass an optional route parameter you use the LINK parameters array as shown below. Notice we are using an object with an optional id parameter. The LIST route works perfectly fine without the id parameter value. If we have the id parameter value, then we style that specific employee with a different colour to indicate he is the employee whose details we have just viewed. <a class="btn btn-primary" [routerLink]="['/list',{id:employee.id}]"> Back to List </a> Reading optional route parameter is very similar to reading required route parameter. We use the same ActivatedRoute service. constructor(private _route: ActivatedRoute) { } ngOnInit() { this.selectedEmployeeId = +this._route.snapshot.paramMap.get('id'); } In the view template (display-employee.component.html), we want to add panel-success bootstrap css class to the employee panel, if the id of the employee being displayed by that panel IS EQUAL TO the value we have in selectedEmployeeId property. <div class="panel panel-primary" [class.panel-success]="selectedEmployeeId === employee.id"> In our next video, we will discuss the differences between optional route parameters and required route parameters and when to use one over the other.

javascript tutorial - Background color change dynamically using pure javascript - bangla
In this video I have shown how can we change background color dynamically using javascript. Source code and tutorial will be available from following link https://github.com/polodev/dynamic_color_in_javascript_yt_bangla Dynamic Background color using pure javascript This is a funny little project, which will help you to practice some javascript with fun. Things I have covered in this lesson Math object Math object is a collections of properties and method to perform mathematical calculation. // for getting pi value Math.PI // for getting ceil value Math.ceil(2.33); //for getting floor value Math.floor(2.33); //for getting round value Math.round(2.33); Math.round(2.63); //for getting random number between 0 - 1; Math.random() //for getting random number between 0 - 5; Math.random() * 5 //for getting random integer number between 0 - 5; Math.floor(Math.random() * 5) //for getting random integer number between 0 - 5 using pareInt function // I mean instead of Math.floor() method we can use parseInt function parseInt(Math.random() * 5) style in js using element.style object we can style our html document in javascript. In css, we are using background-color as css property. But in js hyphen (-) treated as arithmetic operator. So instead of background-color we will use cameCase version 'backgroundColor'. Same goes to similar css properties like fontFamily body.style.backgroundColor = colors[ parseInt(Math.random() * colors.length) ]; body.style.color = 'white'; addEventListener using addEventListener we can attach any event to a element button.addEventListener('click', function () { // whatever you want to execute on click event }); Here first parameter is event name, second parameter is a function How to make a dynamic colors we will make array of colors and make background color from colors array using js. We will select random color from colors array using Math.random() and parseInt() method. Here is the full code var body = document.body; var button = document.querySelector('button'); var colors = ['teal', 'salmon', 'tomato', 'blue', 'green', 'maroon', 'dodgerblue']; function color_change() { body.style.backgroundColor = colors[ parseInt(Math.random() * colors.length) ]; } color_change(); button.addEventListener('click', color_change); body.style.color = 'white'; My name is shibu deb polo Thanks Please subscribe to my channel https://www.youtube.com/c/polodev10 Happy coding!

CSS Border-radius Property Explained and Illustrated
CSS Border-radius Property Explained and Illustrated https://youtu.be/uIiPfYGRwjk CSS Border-Radius is a css property that allows you to round the corners of elements on your website. In the past you had to do this with images, but with CSS3 you can easily do it with cascading stylesheets. Here's the CSS from the video if you want to copy and paste it into your project: #roundborder { width:200px; margin:100px 0 0 100px; padding:20px; background-color:#f7f0c5; border:5px solid #000000; border-radius:10px; } The part of that CSS code that actually does the rounding is border-radius:10px; That will create a rounding with a radius of 10 pixels on each of the corners. You can also apply different rounding radii to different corners. For example: border-radius:10px 0px 25px 3px; That will apply a rounded corner of 10px to the top left corner. A corner with 0px radius on the top right. A corner with 25 pixels radius to the bottom right. And finally, a corner with 3 pixels radius to the bottom left. For the css border-radius property you are able to add one value, two values, three values and 4 values. If there is one value in the padding shorthand then that value is applied to all sides. If there are two values then the first value is applied top and bottom and the second value is applied left and right. If there are three values then the first value is applied to the top, the second value is applied left and right and the third value is applied to the bottom. If there are four values then the first value is applied to the top, the second value is applied to the right, the third value is applied to the bottom and the fourth value is applied to the left. A great way to remember the order of padding (and of margins coincidently) is the word TROUBLE. If you remove all of the vowels you are left with TRBL. TRBL is an acronym for Top, Right, Bottom, and Left. Which is the order of application when all 4 values are in the padding parameter. That's all there is to it. I hope this video helps you! You can see this site is responsive for mobile devices also. we are using CSS for styling HTML and also use JavaScript to add click event to the hamburger menu. so before we start this video make sure you press the subscribe button and also press the bell icon to get notified of my every new video and also like this video if you find anything useful. so before we getting late let's get started. so first you need to open empty folder in the editor and create two file in that folder index.htm and style.css. in index.html file create simple HTML5 snippet and specify title text. I will spit this window so you will know what is going on. after that we link two files. first one is font awesome CSS file to use icon in the project and second is style.css In the body tag create a container class and in that class put the navigation with navbar class and specify ID nav ID. In the navigation create type button and specify a class toggle collapse and ID toggle button in this button create a span tag and specify class toggle icon using this class we create hamburger menu. Now we will create navigation. so we will add in order list tag with site nav class and here we put a li tag with nav item class. in the li tag we insert and anchor tag and specify site name class. so here we specify website name. after that we create second navigation item with item class and insert anchor tag with nav link class. So here we First specify first navigation item Home. after that we insert another li tag with nav item class and create anchor tag with nav link class specify blog text. I will fast forward this video and create features pricing and contact us navigation item. I will use same classes to create this navigation items. On the last navigation item we will insert social icon font awesome website. So I will add some social icon here Like Facebook Twitter Instagram and YouTube. how the time in style this HTML. in style.css select body tag and specify margin 0% and padding 0% then I will apply Font family and specify background colour two body of the document. then I will create navbar class and specify position absolute right 0% width 260 pixel you are free to choose your own navigation width. specify height 100% background colour black text align centre and transition property 0.8s then I will select side nav class which is child of navbar class specify list style type none padding 0 and margin 0. Create an nav item class specify display flex. then select the child element of navigation item navigation link and specific text decoration none colour font size 1.1em padding 1em and flex 1 property to fill the Remaining space of navigation item. after that create hover effect on a navigation link specify background and colour property. Now now we will align toggle button at the right place. to create toggle collapse class specified float property left margin left -3.3em margin top. 5em content blank outline inherit border 0px background transfer. now we will create toggle button. so using toggle icon class I will create toggle button.
