The Palm Island, Dubai UAE - Megastructure Development

49:47
An awe-inspiring engineering feat, Dubai Palm Islands is definitely the largest artificial islands on earth. These Islands are three man made islands in the form of massive palm trees connected to the beaches of Dubai. The first island is the Palm Jumeirah, Jebel Ali Palm second and the third is the Palm Deira which is the biggest of them all. This artificial archipelago located off the coastline of United Arab Emirates in Persian Gulf. Dubai islands project was commissioned by Sheikh Mohammed in an effort to maximize beachfront property. Dubai's palm tree-shaped resort island on land built from the sea will contribute 120 km of beaches. Aside from the construction of the ambitious expansion, there is also the problem of constructing a mini city, which consists of 4,500 high-end residential homes, miles of roads, luxurious hotels and many amenities that will require basic human resources including electricity, safe drinking water and many more. This enormous project will position Dubai as one of the top tourist destinations in the world. I will tell you why these islands have appeared and that they must satisfy. Dubai is an emirate that open sea about 50 km (an estimate) and the sites required for building projects are on the beach. To view course and especially to "park" in front of the yacht's property or even assembly. Well when the beach was not available, and demand persists, the beach had invented. And it appeared artificial islands. Hence so sophisticated forms of the islands: they had to provide a larger opening to the ocean. This new concept quickly caught on. 'Only a' product 'high-end, the latest wrinkle in the most creative developers metropolis. A new source of land, location of the trick of the planet Earth! The job went, the two islands were settled immediately, with mixed development, spectacular, exorbitant, and finally in Dubai's specific style ... In parallel to the World archipelago started building and other projects are still on the drawing board Nakheel, developer. But crisis compels us to winter a little ... Where is the dream of similar islands: In Lebanon, wants to build a cedar shaped islands, the symbol of this country. Russia wants to try an island / an archipelago in Black in Sochi at the 2014 Olympics, at least that is speaking through the past years. Also in Japan there are several large airports built on artificial islands. The Palm Islands are artificial peninsulas constructed of sand dredged from the bottom of the Persian Gulf by the Belgian company Jan De Nul and the Dutch company Van Oord. The sand is sprayed by the dredging ships, which are guided by DGPS, onto the required area in a process known as rain-bowing because of the arcs in the air when the sand is sprayed. The outer edge of each Palm's encircling crescent is a large rock breakwater. The breakwater of the Palm Jumeirah has over seven million tons of rock. The Palm Islands are an artificial archipelago (islands) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Major commercial and residential infrastructures will be constructed by Nakheel Properties, a property developer in The UAE. The Belgian and Dutch dredging and marine contractors, Jan De Nul and Van Oord, some of the world's specialists in land reclamation, were hired to complete construction. The islands are the Palm Jumeirah, the Palm Jebel Ali and the Palm Deira. Each settlement will be in the shape of a palm tree, topped with a crescent. The settlements will have a large number of residential, leisure and entertainment centers. The Palm Islands are located off the coast of The UAE in the Persian Gulf and will add 520 kilometers of beaches to the city of Dubai. The first two islands will comprise of approximately 100 million cubic meters of rock and sand. The Palm Deira will be composed of approximately one billion cubic meters of rock and sand. All materials will be quarried in The UAE. Among the three islands, there will be over 100 luxury hotels, exclusive residential beach side villas and apartments, marinas, water theme parks, restaurants, shopping malls, sports facilities and health spas. The creation of the Palm Jumeirah began in June 2001. Shortly after, the Palm Jebel Ali was announced and reclamation work began. The Palm Deira is planned to have a surface area of 46.35 square kilometers and was announced for development in October 2004. GC Privé ~ A world of luxury www.gcprive.com

BEACH IN DUBAI, دبي, JUMEIRAH BEACH DUBAI, 2017, PUBLIC BEACH

BEACH IN DUBAI, دبي, JUMEIRAH BEACH DUBAI, 2017, PUBLIC BEACH, DUBAI BEACH, The glorious Jumeirah Beach lies along Dubai's coast, providing stretches of soft white sand on which to relax and play. Visitors to Jumeirah's hotels, like the seven-star Burj Al Arab, enjoy private beaches offering water sports. If you're not a hotel guest, you're welcome to relax at Jumeirah Beach Park, the public portion of the beach. You can barbecue, stroll around the cafés, or simply grab a mat, lay back, and take it easy while the sun sets. Dubai is a city and emirate in the United Arab Emirates known for luxury shopping, ultramodern architecture and a lively nightlife scene. Burj Khalifa, an 830m-tall tower, dominates the skyscraper-filled skyline. At its foot lies Dubai Fountain, with jets and lights choreographed to music. On artificial islands just offshore is Atlantis, The Palm, a resort with water and marine-animal parks. Dubai (/duːˈbaɪ/ doo-BY; Arabic: دبي‎‎ Dubayy, Gulf pronunciation: [dʊˈbɑj]) is the largest and most populous city in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).[4] It is located on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf and is the capital of the Emirate of Dubai, one of the seven emirates that make up the country. Abu Dhabi and Dubai are the only two emirates to have veto power over critical matters of national importance in the country's legislature.[5] The city of Dubai is located on the emirate's northern coastline and heads the Dubai-Sharjah-Ajman metropolitan area. Dubai will host World Expo 2020.[6] Dubai emerged as a global city and business hub of the Middle East.[7] It is also a major transport hub for passengers and cargo. By the 1960s, Dubai's economy was based on revenues from trade and, to a smaller extent, oil exploration concessions, but oil was not discovered until 1966. Oil revenue first started to flow in 1969.[8] Dubai's oil revenue helped accelerate the early development of the city, but its reserves are limited and production levels are low: today, less than 5% of the emirate's revenue comes from oil.[9] The emirate's Western-style model of business drives its economy with the main revenues now coming from tourism, aviation, real estate, and financial services.[10][11][12] Dubai was recently named the best destination for Muslim travellers by Salam Standard.[13] Dubai has recently attracted world attention through many innovative large construction projects and sports events. The city has become iconic for its skyscrapers and high-rise buildings, in particular the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. Dubai has been criticised for human rights violations concerning the city's largely South Asian and Filipino workforce.[14] Dubai's property market experienced a major deterioration in 2008–09 following the financial crisis of 2007–08,[15] but the emirate's economy has made a return to growth, with a projected 2015 budget surplus.[16] As of 2012, Dubai was the 22nd most expensive city in the world and the most expensive city in the Middle East.[17][18] In 2014, Dubai's hotel rooms were rated as the second most expensive in the world, after Geneva.[19] Dubai was rated as one of the best places to live in the Middle East by U.S. global consulting firm Mercer. Dubai has a hot desert climate. Summers in Dubai are extremely hot, windy, and humid, with an average high around 41 °C (106 °F) and overnight lows around 30 °C (86 °F) in the hottest month, August. Most days are sunny throughout the year. Winters are warm with an average high of 24 °C (75 °F) and overnight lows of 14 °C (57 °F) in January, the coldest month. Precipitation, however, has been increasing in the last few decades, with accumulated rain reaching 94.3 mm (3.71 in) per year.[57] Dubai summers are also known for the moderate to high humidity level, which can make it uncomfortable for many.[58] The highest recorded temperature in the UAE is 52.1 °C (126 °F), reached in July 2002.[59]

Dubai - Modern-day Orient by the sea

43:43
Dubai is a city of many faces: towering office and hotel skyscrapers and oriental bustle in Bur Dubai, the old town quarter. Mubashir Malik came here from Pakistan when he was just 18. He had heard a lot about Dubai: A place, where a lot of money can be earned, without being especially qualified. Now he has been driving a water taxi on the Dubai Creek for the past four years and feels like a rich man. Brothers Arif and Faisal Matraushi are both passionate fishermen. Arif fishes from the evening to midnight, while Faisal drives to the Dubai fish market every morning at 3 a.m. to sell the catch. Jeremy Sabaneer has worked his way up. He is manager of the "Leba-non" island in the middle of the "World", as Dubai's ambitious offshore island project is known. Jeremy began here more than 15 years ago, as a Pakistani migrant worker. Now he has his hands full. A bank has rented his party island for a company event. Jeremy takes to the air with water plane pilot Andrew Kennedy to check his world from above. And in the desert location of Lahbab, "mareTV" encounters racing camel coaches. Since the protests against the use of children as jockeys became more violent, they now replaced them with robots. High tech in a traditional sport. Typical Dubai….

Dubai Hotel Vlog: JA Ocean View Hotel Dubai

02:28
In September 2017 my husband and I stayed at the JA Ocean View Hotel in Dubai: https://www.jaresortshotels.com/propertyoverview/dubai/ja-ocean-view-hotel We paid for this trip as it was a personal holiday, this is not a sponsored video. The hotel location is right on Jumeirah Beach, as you can see from the impressive sea view from our balcony. There is so much to do right on your doorstep and within a very short walk of the hotel - the beach itself, public transport (the Marina tram), and plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes. The hotel itself is not lavish by Dubai standards, but it had everything we needed for a short sunshine break. We only ate breakfast and pool snacks at the hotel - dinner is served every night in the main restaurant and is a difference buffet style each night. The hotel pool was lovely, but did get shaded from around midday onwards every day, so if you want to sunbathe you needed to head to the sun terrace which stayed sunny most of the day, but did mean you couldn't cool off in the pool. However, the hotel will provide you with a pack for the beach (umbrella, beach mats etc) if you prefer to sunbathe there - and swimming in the sea is so warm! If you want to be near the beach, and also within walking distance of a huge range of places to eat and shop, as well as stay in a more budget friendly hotel, then JA Ocean View Hotel is perfect for you - but if you're looking for lavish 5 star plus "typical Dubai" hotel hospitality (which you will pay for!) then there are probably better options for you in Dubai. Thanks for having us JA Ocean View!

BEACH IN DUBAI, دبي, JUMEIRAH BEACH DUBAI, BURJ KHALIFA, DUBAI MALL, THE PALM DUBAI, SHOPPING IN DUBAI, The glorious Jumeirah Beach lies along Dubai's coast, providing stretches of soft white sand on which to relax and play. Mumbai - Fujairah (Dubai) Underwater Train Tunnel Project

02:51
The project is meant to connect the UAE and the other GCC countries for the first time with India via a Tunnel and an Ultra Speed subsea railway line ; with the aim of improving the Bilateral Trade between the two nations. The Fujairah-Mumbai Tunnel & Subsea Ultra Speed Train Line Project is currently at the Concept stage. The floating underwater tunnel would consist of two curved concrete tubes, submerged below the surface of the Arabian Sea . The submerged tubes would be stabilize by being attached to pontoons on the surface of the sea or vertical tethers to the sea floor. There would be enough gaps between the pontoons to allow ships to pass through. The tubes would be placed underwater, deep enough to avoid water traffic and weather. The Main benefits from Project are : 1. Commute Passengers, Tourists & workers Between the UAE ( as well as other GCC Countries ) and India 2. Export Oil From Fujairah Port To India via a Pipeline 3. Import water from Narmada River North of Mumbai ( it is well noted that The Narmada River is flooding during monsoon season ; excess water can exported to the UAE ) 4. Transport Goods & commodities between both nations. It is expected that the project will help increase the trade and the influx of tourists from both sides. The speed of train is set to be 1000 km/h , the 1826km distance between Mumbai to Fujairah station can be covered within 2hrs. Future plan includes a making a provision for road to be constructed within the floating tunnel for cars and truck transportation ; as well as & Floating Hotel and shopping centre fuel stations at the middle of the Arabian Sea were commuters can rest and shop. Future Train stations may include the port city of Karachi in Pakistan & Muscat the capital city of Oman.
